Great area / walkable to all the major spots
Loved our stay here. It is a lot of stairs but there are a lot of stairs everywhere so it evens out. Would definitely stay here again

Great location right in Cannaregio by the canal with lots of restaurants. Short walk from the water taxi to get wherever you need. Bonus that it’s near the first stop on the water taxi from the airport

Beautiful attic apartment with fantastic view. Just be warned that there are a lot of stairs and you might get bitten by mosquitoes in the night. Overall though, excellent stay in looking for a place in a quieter area of Venice

We loved out stay in Venice! Cute place with a great view! The location was wonderful with lots of great shopping and restaurants close by. It was close enough that you could walk to the major sites, but far enough that it was as crowded as the big areas. Would definitely come back.

Good for the most part...
Accurate listing and comfortable stay. Cute and cozy place. It is 3 stories up so be ready to take your luggage up stairs. It is in the Cannaregio district so about 15-20 minute walk from the main train station. The host meet us at the train station which was very helpful. The area was relatively safe and cute. Very close to the water boat to get to Murano/Burano, a little bit more of a walk to get to the main parts of Venice but Venice is a small city so not a huge deal. Only bad thing that tanked the rating for me -- bed bugs in one of the beds :/ 4 people stayed here at 2 beds and 2 of us staying in 1 of the beds got hella bed bug bites. I'm sure this can be fixed by a deep clean but it was kind of inconvenient. Otherwise good stay.

Perfect Venice Loft
We absolutely adored our stay here! The location was perfect. Just outside the busy main area but full of amazing restaurants and some fun night life. Mornings we peaceful and gorgeous with the view of the canals right outside the door. We loved the loft style and enjoyed the book library right outside the front door. We we absolutely recommend and stay here again when we come back. Our hosts were lovely and helpful!

Great location, but not a clean place
The host Emanuaella very responsive. Her local agent was great at meeting us and providing helpful local tips. Location is convenient to train station and overall for sightseeing. The apartment was not clean though, very dusty in all corners and shelves and dirty floor.

Beautiful view and location, LOTS of mosquitoes, hit-and-miss communication
Pros: *The views from this apartment are stunning. *The location is great - lots of excellent eateries nearby (try the pizza down the street!) and easy walking distance to all of the major Venetian sites. *The fifty+ stairs up will help you work off the pizza! Cons: *Like other reviewers have mentioned, the mosquitoes are bad. If you keep all of the windows closed, the place becomes very stuffy and hot. If you open the windows even a crack from late afternoon on, you'll be eaten alive. (We left some bug spray for the next people - definitely use it!) *The fifty+ stairs up aren't just one 'easy' staircase - the are up multiple flights with sharp turns. If you're carrying luggage - it's a slog. *While the owner was very communicative (thanks!), the local property manager apparently only communicates by telephone calls (not texts or other platforms - although that seemed to change once we were onsite?). Pro or con depending on your perspective: *Not sure who else lives in the building - but whoever was there when we were there filled the place like an Amsterdam cafe (I hope you'll understand that meaning). Being on the top floor - everything came up. Maybe that's your cup of tea - wasn't mine.

Lovely retreat
A delightful space in a quieter part of the city, it's a welcome place to come home to at the end of a day of touring. No wi-fi, but that adds to the feel that this is a bit of a retreat. Plenty of cafes and restaurants near by - I enjoyed eating breakfast here on the little canal better than in the busier neighborhoods. Conveniently close to a Vaporetto stop, though I could usually walk somewhere in the same amount of time it took to ride once you factor in waiting for the boat to arrive - took me about 25 minutes to get to San Marco, either walking or taking the boat (there's a ticket machine at the closest Vaporetto stop to this apartment, S. Marcuola Casino, which is helpful). There are a fair amount of stairs to get to this rooftop apartment, so if you struggle with those this may not work well for you. My check in process wasn't great but that was because my phone wasn't working right and I couldn't receive calls from the agency (I had to ask a nearby shop owner to call the agency for me), so make sure your phone works so you can get your keys! My communication with the host was easy though, and she always responded right away over email. And just a couple mosquitoes for me :D A great spot!
