Only a stone's throw from the Grand Canal and the train station, the apartment is situated in the Santa Croce district. The nearby Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, far from the tourist traps, is a heaven of peace. In the summer you'll find children playing outdoors while their parents take shelter from the sun under the large trees. This spacious and comfortable house is spread out over two floors. The tasteful interior design and exposed ceiling beams lend charm to the apartment.

Ground floor

The front hall (6.25 m²) leads to a main room (28.3 m² - southwest facing), which is divided into two separate spaces.

The dining room has a window and a French door that look out onto the private yard. There is a table, chairs, a buffet, and shelves.

The living room overlooks the private yard and contains a double sofa-bed, several tables, a trunk, and a CD player/radio.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (electric oven, refrigerator, and gas stove) and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need.

The bathroom (2.85 m²) is small and fitted with a sink, bidet, and toilet.

Opposite, on the other side of the corridor, a first bedroom (12 m²) is equipped with a double bed and a table. Its two windows overlook the street (North-East exposure)

Location Location Location
This property is literally across A bridge from the train station and a 5 minutes walk to the bus/limo depot. A definite stay with ample space for everyone and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Kitchen is large with a nice outdoor space. Note the main bedroom is off the street, so street noise could be startling and there is no air conditioning. Prime Location.

Sehr schönes Haus,
Schönes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet, lauschiger Innenhof, leicht zu erreichen( vom Bahnhof nur eine Brücke, ruhiges Viertel Aber: die Gasse ist die Einflugschneise vom Bahnhof aus, ab früh morgens. Es ist erstaunlich, wie laut ein einzelner Rollkoffer oder ein lebhaft telefonierender Mensch in der schmalen Gasse sein kann! Tagsüber und auch nachts kein Problem, aber zwischen 5.00 und 8.00 zur Gasse hin lieber mit geschlossenem Fenster.

We stayed there with 5 people during a week. The house is adequate, it is centrally located and the real plus is the terrace. One can stay on the terrace during the whole day in the shadow and that in the heart of Venice is marvellous.

Sehr schönes, sauberes Haus mit Innenhof. Wir waren sehr froh über die Klimaanlage, da in Venedig im August die Hitze steht. Sehr kurze Wege vom Parkhaus und zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Tolle Wohnung sehr schlechte Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung
Nach Umbuchung durch den Gastgeber am Tag zuvor und viel zu später Möglichkeit der Kontaktaufnahme, (wir wußten bis zum Tag der Anreise nicht, wann und wo wir den Schlüssel für das Haus bekommen) waren wir positiv überrascht von dem schönen, ruhigen trotzdem zentral gelegenen Fereinhaus mit gut eingerichteter Küche, sehr ordentlich und sauber, kühl im Hochsommer!
