Penthouse apartment
Very nice. Very large penthouse apartment with very nice bacony/patio to sit and have your morning coffee or evening wine. Nicely stocked kitchen. Easy bus access to the city for trips in so can leave your car in the gated designated parking space (10 euro/day). Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Place
We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was more than we could have hoped for. Nick was great getting us checked in and giving us perfect directions for getting into the city. The furnishings were amazing and perfect for a Venetian stay. Getting to know his mother was an added treat. We loved it. I would definitely recommend this apartment for future visitors.

A perfectly preserved, authentically Italian luxury apartment
This apartment is very special. It is a penthouse apartment, created for the building owners, now belonging to the family, who have preserved it in its beautiful entirety. It is both full of gorgeous antiques and paintings, and yet entirely comfortable, with big comfortable couches, good beds, and a fully outfitted kitchen (not modern, but very well organized and usable--appliances are all new). This was definitely one of our most memorable experiences, just a 20 minute bus ride from Venice proper, with the bus just outside the front door. We also took day trips to Verona and Padua, as the train station is only 3 bus stops away. Would love to go back. Nick was super easy to deal with and very kind. Loved it.

We rented this property back in April and just recently completed our trip the furniture at this place is very old and needs to be replaced especially all the couches you sink and literally cannot get up also there’s beehives outside the windows so when you take a shower and open the window all the bees come in which was not a good thing there was also Bugs flying around and biting you at night mosquitoes to be specific the kitchen is very tiny the coffee pot handle is broken so be careful when making coffee none of the beds have boxsprings so you’re literally almost on the ground sleeping the showers were great no problem there the owner of the property needs to go in there and replace about all the furniture

Good location for a visit to Venice and north eastern Italy
On first sight this didn't look too promising as it appears to be in a rather uninspiring block of apartments. However, we were met on arrival by Nick who took the time to show us around a spacious, elegantly furnished 4 bedroom apartment. There are two large double bedrooms, a slightly smaller twin with an ensuite shower and a large single. All our party commented that their beds were very comfortable. There is an additional shower room and a bathroom. The kitchen is small with rather tired units and could do with a deep clean. There is a good size fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The oven and hob had seen better days and are in need of a clean. The lounge is large and very elegantly furnished with a balcony. It's a wonderful place to chill after a busy day out. There is air-conditioning in each of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the lounge. The weather was particularly hot whilst we were there and the air-conditioning was marginal. The location is brilliant for access to Mestre town centre which is very pleasant and significantly less pricey than Venice. The Museum M9 is 10 mins walk from the apartment and is well worth a visit. The No2 bus to/from Venice stops right outside the apartment. The bus runs 3-5 times an hour depending on the time of day. This bus also stops at Mestre Railway Station which is a 10 min walk down Via Piave. We took a day trip to Verona and train tickets are cheap if you book in advance. There is a good sized Eurospar supermarket 5 mins walk from the apartment and there is also a good Chinese restaurant across the street. Nick was very helpful and arranged our transfer to the airport for €10/head which turned up on time in a very smart Mercedes minibus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a base for visiting Venice and rail trips to other cities in north eastern Italy.

Excellent spacious property in a brilliant location for public transport and getting in to Venice
Very helpful management, our transport from the airport was cancelled less than 24 hours before our trip and you rearranged for us very quickly. The apartment was beautifully clean and wonderfully decorated. Loads of outside space to enjoy the sunshine. Good supermarkets nearby along with great bakers and ice cream shop to. Cannot recommend highly enough, fantastic value too

The apartment is very conveniently located. Just outside the door is the bus stop for the No2 bus to Venice. The apartment itself is very large and very lovely. We would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

Very spacious for our group of 8, located at bus stop for #2 which goes right to bus circle on the isles . We could walk everywhere in Mestre for groceries or eating out... in fact, the food is great and in many cases better than the tourist areas! Nick met us on property and also helped us arrange airport transportation!

Large apartment appropriate for 3 couples and reasonably well equipped kitchen (missing scissors and good cutting knives). Good welcome and thorough information from Nicola...thank you. Appreciated knowing the history of the apartment. Very good restaurant across the street. Antiques give this apartment some great cachet. However the sofas need replacement and so do the mattresses of the 2 single beds. The main bath could use a curtain so that people can have a shower...none of us (3 couples) took baths. Showers could use a good scrubbing and some new caulking.

The “crowning glory” of our vacation!!
We just experienced such an elegant “ crowning glory” to our vacation that started with a cruise to the Greek Isles and ended with Nick’s fabulous spacious apartment with gorgeous outdoor terrace and impeccable service. I love to travel, and I can honestly say that this apartment and landlord service exceeded every expecatation I had. There were 6 of us women college age on up. We enjoyed everything for only 2 days... but, Staying here was the “ crowning glory” of our entire vacation. I say this because I wanted to surprise my dear daughters who were headed back to college with a “ Italian personal Chef” dinner our last night. I shared my dream with Nick, and he caught my vision... told me he’d make sure it was “ 10 stars”!! Nick arranged everything. He found the perfect chef, and we had an incredible farewell dinner with memories for a lifetime on our last night. I hope to come back again someday. And, of course, I would ONLY choose this Venice apartment. Bravo, Nick!!

Nice convenient place.
Only glitch was very marginal air conditioning. Electrical circuit breaker tripped twice, thus stopping the a/c. Even when working, units didn’t cool very well. Owner said service person was to come soon to boost up the power source. Owner and his mother were very cordial and nice.
