Overall great experience. Housekeeping staff was excellent and helpful. Location was pretty good although not a ton within close walking distance but easy cab rides. Right on the malecon. Restaurant in the hotel was okay. There is a Starbucks as well but doesn't open until 11:00 a.m. we had a superior room for the view which was great. Beach was clean pool was clean outside bar was nice. There's another bar inside as well which is nice. We will stay there again but one star off for sewage smell coming out of the shower drain a couple of the days.

The hotel is in a great location, right on the malecón. With access to a beach. The staff are all nice and helpful. The linens seemed dirty, and old. The pool/beach sun bathing chairs are all old and broken. We had an issue with our room smelling like sewer and I had to ask to be moved. Instead of them offering to move us. The stay was average.

Not courteous at all, rude, none of the fridges or frigo bars work, phone in room did not worked, I reported and was simple told that none of them work and there was nothing they can do. I believe phone is a basic requirement at any hotel and the room fridge bar that is offer as part of their amenities should be provide, we need it the room fridge bar to store cheese from our hometown that went bad due no refrigeration, sad to see that one of the hotels with reputation is careless, they don’t train their personal and don’t keep up with their amenities according to their reputation

We got an upgraded room and it was fantastic with a big terrace and nice view of the beach, it included a nice sofa bed, they also gave us bath ropes and sleepers. The service was excellent and the free breakfast buffet was great! I will stay there again.

I pretty much like everything, except waiting to check in 45 minutes after 3pm because the room wasn’t ready, then they were going to give me a room without balcony after I had already paid for the balcony so I had to wait again, I had to ask for bathrobes and slippers that were supposed to be in the room, no magnifying mirror in the bathroom either, so lack of VIP service with the details, people were very nice, specially Israel at the Blue Bar , he was on it! Friendly and happy doing his job, thank you Israel!!

Hotel is still nice after many years, the room cleanest was not the best, below the bed there was some dirt and the balcony was not really clean. I went with family and have lots of fun visiting all the places around. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Great location, but dated and needs TLC. This hotel boasts a convenient location, but unfortunately, the property itself seems a bit worn. The pool area could use some attention, with broken chairs, broken umbrellas. Beach area not clean, broken chairs. Additionally, the towels were not the freshest – they seemed a bit discolored and weren't separated for pool use from bathroom use.
