First off, this hotel was pretty misleading - the name made me think it was a locally-owned, independent hotel. It's a Super 8. So when we pulled in and saw that we were already a bit annoyed.
Check-in was smooth, until we got into our room. There were bugs (living and dead) all over the place, and there were crumbs and dirt all over the bed linens. My friend and I are generally not the type of people to care or say something, but we knew we couldn't sleep in that bed. We went back to the front desk and asked for new linens, but they didn't have any other staff, so they just switched us to a new room. Very happy they did, as that room did not have the cleanliness and bug issues that the first one did!
We had originally planned to use the pool, but once we saw the first room we knew there was no way we'd be going in there.
Breakfast was mediocre - a pretty basic continental breakfast. I was also disappointed by the lack of ice maker - they have a freezer in the lobby where you can use the ice dispenser, but it was out of ice most of the times we tried to use it.
The positives: staff were polite, AC/room temp worked great, shower had good water pressure, and the beds were decently comfortable.
I will not be staying there again, but it is probably a decent option for a solo traveler just staying one night.
