After our original accommodation cancelled on us at the last minute, we ended up booking here. The room was large and comfortable, dinner at the restaurant was great, and we were especially pleased to find the free car wash station out front as our vehicle was very dirty from driving dirt roads. The included breakfast was more typically American than other places we’ve stayed: it had bacon, eggs, beans, cornflakes, and Cheerios in addition to the typically European style buffet.

Roomy and modern

Extremely quiet stay - no door slamming or voices from other rooms. Very spacious room and modern bathroom with towel warmer. Bed was comfy as well. Breakfast offers a wide variety of food. Dinner was not a great experience - both the fish and lamb were overcooked and bland though. But great hotel!

Stunning and remote location. Fjord view room has exceptional outlook. Superior rooms are large and feel new. Adequate breakfast and dinner (no alternatives). Natural geothermal pool under 10 minutes walk away and dressing gowns provided. Pool is less busy late evening. Petrol available.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are new, clean and have everything you could want. The breakfast is great and includes hot food options. Dinner was also good and prices are inline with normal prices in Iceland. The location is perfect for hiking and getting to local sights. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a lovely oasis of comfort after a long, difficult drive. The restaurant is excellent. The geo thermal pool is so close and easy to access. And it is very convenient for the ferry. A wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful! We stayed 2 nights while we explored the area. The service and accommodations were exceptional. We had a family room and even with the sofa bed pulled out it was very spacious. Breakfast and dinner were both very good.

Cosmin and Roxy were great. We had superior accommodations and they were very comfortable. Food selection limited but really great tasting. Several common areas that we could play card games. A nice respite during a cold snowy day. Definitely would recommend!

The staff was very helpful. After a long day getting there from the airport, they directed us to the nearest hot spring and provided us with an extra towel and robe. Their restaurant offered a good variety and the food was excellent. Our room was as described and the beds comfy! I highly recommend this property should you venture to the West Fjords for lodging or a meal.

This is really the only hotel option in the area. It is reasonable for what it is, a room at the end of a quiet fjord. They aren’t large rooms but you really shouldn’t be spending much time there. The hotel offered bathrobes and extra towels for the nearby hot spring which was a great plus. Thumbs up there. The restaurant has a bit of a captive audience. The food was good, though the dinner portions not large. We both left wanting more which was unfortunate. Breakfast had a lot of options for various tastes. All staff we dealt with were friendly and seemed to genuinely want to help. We wish the rooms had space for a small fridge for people who like to do a bit of self catering.
