Beautiful property with fantastic views of the lake. Everything you need is within walking distance & the lake only a short stroll away. The property is located in a residential area so you need to be mindful of noise, as we did get asked to quieten the children down when in the pool but other than that no issues.

Absolute Perfection
Everything about this property was perfect. The check in process was flawless, as was our stay overall. The house and amenities were very clean and very well-stocked. We cooked several times and had everything we needed. Charlotte was an exceptional hostess and made us feel very welcome. We can't wait to come back to Lake Annecy!

Beautiful lake views from the balconies
Our family of six enjoyed our stay very much. The views from the villa are stunning. The pool was very clean and provided a welcome place to cool off during the lovely weather we had. The spacious layout of the property was helpful with a party of 6 and allowed everyone to enjoy time apart when wanted.,

Wonderful villa for a multi generational family holiday
The villa is gorgeous and so comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. We had wonderful evenings on the terrace overlooking the lake and mountains. We enjoyed days lazing by the pool and lots of adventures around Annecy. We were a family ages ranging from 87 to 22 and the villa was perfect for us all.

Lovely house with amazing view
This well-kept property offers lots of room for a large family or 4 couples with plenty of amenities - pool, terrace with lounging and dining opportunities, games area, separate tv room, laundry area and nicely stocked kitchen. The views over the lake and mountains are incredible and visible from almost all the rooms. Bakeries, a grocery and the post office are just down the hill. Although it was somewhat cold and rainy during our visit, and we didn’t get to enjoy all the wonderful amenities the property offers, we very much enjoyed our stay.

An amazing family vacation
I could go on and on about how amazing our stay here was, if there wasn’t a character limit :) but what I will say is that Veyrier is a very special place - and Lara’s home is the perfect place to enjoy it from! It was amazingly well stocked, the perfect layout for our family with 3 young kids, and in a wonderful location- we loved our walks to the boulangerie each morning and spent lots of time hiking and at the lake as well. We can’t wait to return someday soon!

Ideally Equipped and Located for European Family Holiday
This house was ideally equipped and located for a European holiday in the Christmas season for our family of eight. It was a comfortable regional base that allowed us to experience a village, the cities of Annecy and Geneva, France and Switzerland, wonderful scenery—Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains--and historic sites from medieval to the present. The sleeping arrangements allowed four adult couples to each have their own bedroom and access to their own bathroom with toilet and shower. The main floor’s dining and sitting areas held all eight of us. Areas for games, puzzles, and television gave us flexibility for smaller group activities. The kitchen met our cooking needs and served as a morning gathering place. There was ample parking for our vehicles. Those of us who traveled on to other places after our week in the house appreciated the clothes washer and dryer. One of the best features of the home is the view of lake, mountains, and the lights of Annecy. We enjoyed spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Although the December weather did not encourage use of the house’s outdoor amenities or the local hiking, this house would be a pleasant place for a summer holiday. The location is ideal. It is a few minutes’ walk to the village of Veyrier-du-lac. We enjoyed its two bakeries every day. The small grocery market is well provisioned. The pharmacy was helpful when we needed first aid. We found good pizza and lasagna at one of the restaurants. Other restaurants were closed or on restricted hours in December. The tourist office provided us with guidance and maps for the village, Annecy, the lake area, the Haute Savoie region, and Geneva. Annecy is a short drive. We enjoyed its port, downtown shopping area, canals, and two Christmas markets. It is possible to walk from the house to Annecy in one hour along a lakeside path. Beyond Annecy we found easy access by car to skiing in Chamonix, the Olympic city of Albertville and its medieval town of Conflans, the scenic Grande Route des Alpes, and other cities in the region. Geneva is a forty-five-minute drive, and we went there for a Christmas market, a concert, walking in old town, the Museum of the Reformation, and the waterfront areas. We experienced two maintenance issues which affected the otherwise easy check-in and revealed a confusing part of the house information. These were addressed promptly. Prior to our visit, owner Lara was very responsive to our email questions.

Multi-generational Family Vacation
We are a family of nine: grandparents, adult children and four grandchildren ages 7-14. We have taken many trips together to wonderful destinations, but all agreed Annecy and this house win an A+. The house suited us perfectly with bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The rooms were spacious, giving room to gather and space for privacy. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor table where the nine of us could sit comfortably with a spectacular view of the lake. We ate there morning and at night--by candle light. The kitchen was well equipped and came with everything we needed. There are many highlights to this place, but one of our chief criteria is a boulangerie within walking distance--this home has two! We could also walk easily to the lake and its wonderful public beach--great for children of all ages. The return from a day at the beach was uphill but a jump in the pool was a good cool-down. Other positive aspects of the home is its proximity to nearly unlimited outdoor sports. Our son-in-law mountain biked, our daughter hiked to the Mer du Glace in Chamonix and as a group we spent half a day on a fantastic ropes course and another half day with via Ferrata. All this and still time to wander the streets of lovely Annecy or make a quick trip into Galleries Lafayette. We loved it here and have already recommended this house to friends. Thank you!

Great property in an amazing location
This house is brilliant - spacious rooms, almost all with en-suites, well equipped kitchen, and amazing views over Lake Annecy. Just a few minutes' walk to the local shop, patisseries and local restaurants. The lakeside at Veyrier is lovely to take a walk, take a picnic or eat or drink at one of the lakeside restaurants, and Annecy itself is easily walked or cycled to for most people. We'd definitely stay again!

That view! A fabulous house, brilliantly situated, with loads to do. If you ever want to leave it!
A beautiful, spacious house which, even though it's right in the middle of Veyrier du Lac, is remarkably secluded and quiet. The huge balcony and terrace area has amazing views over the lake - we spent a long time here, just taking in that view! Veyrier is perfectly situated for a wide range of activities. We skied at La Clusaz for 2 days - a 40 minute drive, then went walking, making use of the extensive network of paths around Bluffy and the Col de la Forclaz. There's so much to do here , we barely scratched the surface. We spent some time near the pool sunbathing, even in mid April, but the house wasn't in 'full summer' mode. With the pool and the outdoor furniture and the BBQ in action, it would make the most amazing summer base - you really wouldn't want to leave. The facilities in the house were spot on with loads of space, and everything you'd expect from a premium property. Communication with Lara was great. We had a few questions, and she got straight back to us - she obviously wanted us to enjoy the place to the full - you can tell she's really proud of the place - not surprisingly! We're already working out when we can go back - a real gem in an amazing part of the world. Highly recommended.

Fabulous in every way!
Wow, what a wonderful destination and property. There is a great sense of space and scale as you look out across the lake towards Semnoz and Annecy that is so relaxing. There is much to do and the house is close to Veyrier village which makes the morning walk for croissants a delight, and later an easy walk to the beach or the atmospheric port area where the Pecher restaurant is a good place for a relaxed lakeside afternoon wine/ beer or dinner. The property was as described and for the 6 of us staying (4 adults and 2 kids) it was well set up... the views from the sitting room, patio and balcony are much better than the photos can show and we could have spent all day at the house / in the pool. However, we were able to rediscover our love of cycling with some easy journeys around the lake, dip in the lake and then indulge ourselves at Yvonn Conte one evening for a very special treat. Roger are Lara are also the perfect hosts with clear communication and loads of helpful tips. We look forward to coming back again!

Dommage... Autrement tout est parfait. A recommander!
