La Maison d'Alice
La Maison d'Alice, was one of my highlights, during my 4 week stay in France. It could not be, situated in a better location, to fully explore the Dordogne region. Set in the quiet, beautiful hills, away from traffic. Gives you a tranquil place, to come home and relax, after a day of touring. The B&B is a beautifully restored, farmhouse from about 1830. Alice, the owner and operator, is a complete treasure. She will welcome you and take care of you, while you are her guest, in her home. High quality and delicious meals, are served out on the terrace, overlooking the beauty, this area is world famous for. My room, the Flanelle, was a very spacious bedroom, with a sparkling clean, modern bathroom. Alice, always made sure, to clean the bathroom daily and replace all towels, during my recent 4 night stay. Without hesitation, I recommend for anyone to treat themselves. To this glorious B&B, you will not soon forget, your unforgettable peaceful stay.
