GENERAL DESCRIPTION & AMMENITIES: All season cabin on a BEAUTIFUL SPACIOUS FORESTED acreage, provides the best of quiet & privacy but also close to all summer activities. We love dogs and up to 2 dogs are welcome per stay. The closest white sand beach is only a half KM away and the vehicle "restricted area" is a short 4 min bike ride or 18 min walk on average. We are often asked, "is the cabin in the restricted area?" and we say, "No! And that is the best part." You drive right up to the door, no taxi fees, no long walks with your baggage. AND yet, you are every bit as close to the Bakeshop and Clubhouse activities as the majority of the cottages in the restricted area. Additionally we provide guests with a COMPLEMENTARY PASS for the Victoria Beach parking lot for one vehicle for the duration of your stay. Complementary fleet of 5 bikes (2 adult size, 2 youth, 1 child). BRING AND USE YOUR OWN SAFETY HELMETS, those under 18 must wear a helmet while on a bicycle in the RM of Victoria Beach.

When you arrive, you are greeted by rustic cedar walls & pine ceilings that surround an impressive red brick fireplace that is the heart of the cabin. LOTS of windows for light, Central Air Conditioning/Forced Air heating, and fully functional wood burning fireplace. VERY well equipped kitchen with room for several “cooks”. Furnished with all the comforts of home, including extra comfy blankets & pillows, premium bedding that is ALWAYS fresh & clean, great beds and plenty of furniture to relax. This is NOT a sparsely furnished cabin that is typical for most rentals. THIS IS HOME! FRESH kitchen & bath linens, premium shampoo & conditioner in a large bathroom with tub, shower & double sinks. Built in dishwasher and main floor laundry. Sleeps 10 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and a private area on the lower level (2 queens, 2 doubles, 2 twins) with clothing storage options & USB outlets for device charging at each bedside. Separate large dining area with complementary coffee and tea bar. Large Living Room seating for 8 comfortably. Retro GAMES ROOM has pool/snooker table and vintage board games that is great fun for groups. We have an extensive library of books for all ages to use during your stay. TV in the den with lots of DVD movies & HDMI cable for device streaming. Generous 2' x 4' tub full of initial firewood supply for FREE delivered to the door. Located outside the restricted vehicle zone means you can drive yourself right up to the cabin! It is the best of both worlds with ultimate convenience AND extremely close & central to all summertime activities & amenities like grocery stores, ice cream, restaurants and liquor vendors. As guests you are treated to a COMPLEMENTARY PASS for the Victoria Beach parking lot which is great for families with small children or accessibility needs. Central air conditioning welcomes you after hot days at nearby white sand beaches and there are plenty of windows for breezy air flow on temperate days. Huge wrap around screened veranda with dining, cushioned patio furniture and day bed for napping in a bug free zone. “Rainy Day” table for children with indoor arts and crafts to quell the rainy day blues. Outdoor fire pit pad with seating for 10 to gaze at a million stars. Corn hole play area. Propane barbeque, first tank complementary.

**SUMMER FUN** Swim, boat, bike, hike, VB golf course, tennis or sail/windsurf at the nearby sailing club! The nearest white sand beach is 0.5 km from cabin and the VB Village Green and Bake Shop is 1.5 km. We have a complementary fleet of 5 bikes (2 adult size, 2 youth, 1 child). BRING AND USE YOUR OWN SAFETY HELMUTS. There are 4 boat launches in the area (closest launch only 1 km away). Excellent access for a hike to uninhabited Elk Island, 15 min walk to sand cliffs, onsite guidebook to get you acquainted with leisure activities and the many walking trails. The VB Club organizes activities all summer long for all ages and you will always find the latest VB Herald in the cabin so you know what’s happening during your stay. There are pickle ball courts, tennis courts, 2 golf courses, baseball diamonds, basketball court, children's playground and of course the pristine white sand beaches which surround the VB peninsula just minutes away. Every Saturday morning there is a VB Farmer’s Market and the local cycling club welcomes EVERYONE to ride each morning at "8 (am) at the “gate”.

X-Country Ski & Snowmobile Getaway! X-COUNTRY ski trails 2 min away and accessed off the property, groomed SNOWMOBILE Sno-man club trail access right off the property to enjoy for miles & miles. Electric forced air heating for worry free comfort but there is also a wood burning fireplace for ambiance and a generous supply of FREE Firewood. Warm & comfy bedding, immaculate fresh linens ALWAYS. Snowplow service ensures you will not be stranded in snowy weather and exterior electrical outlet for plugging in block heaters is complimentary. Very large yard for parking and easy maneuvering of sled trailers. Groceries, beer vendor, liquor & gas, restaurants are 5 - 10 min drive from cabin.

WINTER FUN: Excellent groomed X-COUNTRY ski trails 2 min away, groomed SNOWMOBILE Sno-man club trail access right off the property to enjoy for miles & miles, 1/2 km to ice fishing, outdoor rink skating, and toboggan hill all winter long. 15 min drive to ice fishing from the "yellow brick road", and 5 min to VB pier/Hillside Bay ice fishing. Local weekend curling bonspiels (plan ahead) all are welcome to participate and great family fun, annual New Year’s Eve festival with tobogganing, outdoor campfires, music & fireworks.



FALL FUN: Fishing is excellent this time of year on Lake Winnipeg and location options are endless with 5 boat launches in the immediate area covering all sides of the lake and mouth of the Winnipeg River. Annual fishing & ice fishing derbies too! Contact host for details!
