The staff seemed nice, but they want you to check in and check out virtually, so it gives me the impression that they don’t want to talk to customers. The bed was hard as a rock. I barely slept for three nights. The bathroom was poorly designed. The towel bar is over the toilet paper holder, so you can’t hang up a wet towel without removing the toilet paper, or else you will have a soggy mass. The toilet is so close to the counter that if you move an inch, the corner of the counter jabs you in the side. They have a lovely curved shower curtain rod, but they hung it so far into the bath that it doesn’t serve its purpose and it’s hard to shower without touching the curtain. They have nice Dove products in the bathroom. You have to step up into the bathroom, as it’s not even with the floor, which you really have to think about in the dark, so as not to trip. The elevator is probably safe, but feels unsafe as it jerks you to a stop and doesn’t end evenly with the floor. It is very tiny. My daughter is a paramedic and commented on the difficulty of getting a stretcher to a patient if needed, as the elevator was so small. Parking was ample, and was included, which is very nice. The view of the harbour was nice, and we liked that the windows opened for fresh air. The hotel is located within walking distance to several attractions.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and the location is fantastic. The bathroom shower had hair from the last guest though and some weird stains dripping down the wall.

Excellent staff, very helpful and kind. Bed was a little old-school and springy and unfortunately the doors for the room do not have a soft close mechanism so when people leave their rooms at anytime day/night it slams behind them.

the front desk staff were amazing. The gentleman who helped me check in and others whom helped me store gear and combine two reservations were fabulous. They warned about renovations but I heard very little. Also the bar downstairs is epic orange !... And had great whiskey sours..

The staff at both the hotel and the connected restaurant were lovely. The room was fairly modern, and in decent condition. It is evidently an older property that has been repainted and fixed up a few times. The workmanship of the fixes leaves something to be desired, but overall the cleanliness made up for that issue. They have pump soaps in the shower, which needed a good wipe down between guests. At least it was soap! The king room we had was quite large, and despite saying online they have no A/C, they did provide a small standing unit.
