​​​​​​​Welcome to The Janion Waterfront Micro-lofts! Feel inspired in this well-appointed, chic and stylish New York-style setting. You're in the heart of downtown and steps away from all things great; cool coffee shops, amazing restaurants, fashion boutiques and sightseeing adventures. The Janion is a fully restored brick heritage building that connects along the waterway in the inner Harbour-views are incredible!

Our open-concept loft is a unique space and boasts 14 feet ceilings. The restored brick in our unit is from the original hotel, along with the fireplace and windows! The Janion was created with smart styling and design in mind. The architecture is European influenced by all appliances covered with sleek and modern cabinet work. The Janion is considered a high-design and high-efficiency micro loft with modern and urban living in mind. We have an a/c unit for the window in our suite.

The Janion Building possesses a rich history, initially constructed in 1891 and later transformed into a sustainable residential complex through meticulous renovation and restoration. The innovative design maximizes space and energy efficiency, offering guests a remarkable glimpse into the past while enjoying modern comforts. A major highlight of staying at the Janion is its stunning communal rooftop patio, renowned for its breathtaking views of the harbour and Olympic mountain range. Policies and Booking Requirements
Age Requirement: Our policy requires the guest making the reservation to be at least 19 years old in order to book.

Cancellation: By confirming this booking, guests agree to our cancellation policy. If you are concerned you may need to cancel outside of the policy, we suggest guests acquire travel insurance to assist in mitigating any losses.

Check-in: We provide self-check-in with a standard check-in window of 4:00 - 7:00 pm. We ask that guests arriving past the standard window carefully read their check-in instructions and reach out with any questions prior to their arrival, as our support team is only available until 7:00 pm. Moreover, we kindly ask that guests arriving in the evening are mindful to keep noise to a minimum.

Occupancy: Our policy permits only the number of guests booked initially to occupy the suite. No Pets. Children Welcome.

No Smoking: Strictly enforced. No Smoking on balconies or in the suite. (Note: The Strata strictly enforces these bylaws, and failure to comply will result in a $500.00 fine).

This is the last time I book with Expedia, or sub properties. I will in future return to Property with staff to greet you and make you feel welcome. This company makes you feel like a bad child staying in a Nunnery. All I received was orders do this . this do that. Believe it or not I was a paying guest . No thank you. Just pages of ORDERS. The room was not much bigger than my cruise cabin. The bed linen was old and needed replacing. Pillows same . Towels minimum supply. Poor quality. Hot water only warm most time. Tv in radicalise place . Could not watch in bed or on lounge- stiff neck. No table available to eat meals . Hanging space shared with cleaning tools.

Beautiful little gem of a location and so cute and perfect for our needs! Was wonderful for walking downtown and to the harbour.. took us 10min to walk to the dock to go whale watching and less than 3 minutes walk to many dining and cafe setting’s nearby. We would definitely recommend this great location & stay here again! 100%.

This property was just as stylish as it was portrayed on the website. The location in Victoria was perfect for walking around downtown, Old Town and Chinatown and had easy access to bus transportation elsewhere. Directions for the stay were very straightforward and communication with the property owners was easy. Loved it!

Great location, right near the harbour only a few minutes walk from all the action. Plenty of eateries right on the doorstep. We knew there was some building work going on, but this meant you can't park right close by for unloading, etc. And the builders on the adjacent lot woke me up using an angle grinder at 7.30am on Saturday morning! The unit is small, with a pull down bed. The linen should have been a size larger to fit the bed with plenty of tuck-in. As it was, the bed was poorly made so the sheets rucked up during the night. A larger sheet would have solved this. The kitchen was short of equipment, but as we only booked for 2 nights, it wasn't a problem. We enjoyed our stay, but some details could be improved.

Very noisy area, inside and outside the building. Close to downtown so heard all sorts of homeless people yelling all night and yelling in the building. Recommended Parking is in an unsafe area and you have to pay, and had cars near ours vandalized. We were also unaware of check in and check out times prior to booking, was told a day in advance which made it difficult, along with complicated instructions for the building. We had a delayed flight and emailed the company 18 hours in advance and never heard back.

Great little bachelor suite
This was a great little bachelor suite in the buzzing area of Victoria! Staying here grant's you walking access to pretty much any major attraction in downtown Victoria, and if it is a little far to walk, there's a Harbour ferry port also very close. 110% would stay here again next time we come to the city!!

Comfortable small studio, great location
I stayed here for about a week while conducting some business in Vic West. The location was great, very easy to get to Vic West but also right on top of all the downtown/Chinatown shops, cafes, etc. Easy to get a cup of coffee or takeout, and close enough to groceries. The unit itself is comfortable, pretty well equipped, and I found it to be very clean. The only thing worth noting is that it is small, which was fine for me, but if you were staying with two people for longer than a few days, it might get tight. The price was very reasonable and it didn't feel like budget accommodation at all. Good communication from the hosts, and easy check-in/check/out.
