The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Hot buffet style breakfast is included and very good for a free hotel breakfast. The location is great- very close to the water, walkable to Fisherman’s Wharf and the Parliament buildings.

It was our anniversary and they left us a welcome gift in our room when we arrived. Very nice touch. Hotel was quiet, comfortable bed. They had a well stocked hot breakfast 7-11am each day and the staff for the breakfast were very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The bicycle racks/storage was inadequate and needs to be improve. Not very safe even with the locked door. Also, I had asked for an upgrade as my friends were offer one ( and paying the same as we did for the same stay). It was generously offered to me also. I was very grateful but to our surprise when we got to our room (209) it wasn't at all an upgrade. My husband and I were so tired we did not go downstairs and talk to the man at the reception desk. We just decided to stay in the room. The beds were great and the room was super clean! We left a good tip to the maid. Your staff is wonderful but our room was quite dark... Thank you! Rachel Poirier

We stayed here for three nights in mid-September. A few things of note that we liked: the breakfast was exceptional with eggs, breakfast meats, fresh local yogurt, a variety of other items; staff were always delightful to deal with; parking underground was handy (note- a nightly add on fee for parking is charged); location is perfect for access to the harbour and main attractions a couple blocks away. The rooms are older but very comfortable and the bed was super comfortable. Nice larger tv with lots of channels. Water pressure was great, which is rarer in older hotels. Negatives would be no dresser drawers in our room and the noise seemed to carry from other rooms. It is an older establishment but very clean and we lacked for no thing. Recommended.

We have been to this hotel several times. It could use some updating. The price provides decent value. I would recommend this property as the location can't be beat.

I booked a bike trip to the Huntingdon Inn&Suites and was informed there would be a secure area for our e-bikes . There was a wooden low quality bike rack sitting on the concrete not secured and a concrete bike rack with a couple of chains for 2 street bikes . Most Hotels offer a caged secure area for bikes . We were felt uneasy leaving our e-bikes there for the night . It did work out but recommend a secure caged area in the near future to accommodate e-bikers .
