My room was very clean and quiet, and it was the perfect location for visiting my family and the sites I wanted to see. Except for one very kind and helpful gentleman, I found the rest of the front desk staff to be abrupt and almost rude. I felt like I felt like a nuisance rather than a guest. I found it inconvenient that there were no vending machines for snacks and drinks, but that was not a big deal. Finally, I understand that they do not want to be refreshing bedding and towels everyday, and I completely agree, but it would be nice if they popped into the room to empty the garbage cans and refresh supplies like coffee and other items, at least every other day. .

Had high hopes for this “superior queen room”. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. Uncomfortable worn-out beds, no water pressure for taking showers, no a/c but only provided a portable fan and the windows would only open a couple of inches. Tv didn’t even offer basic cable. The entrance door to the room had a gap all the way around it so you heard every sound outside that door. The only good thing was the room was non-smoking. The spots for parking at the hotel were so small and weren’t included with the room. I for sure won’t be back to this hotel.

Parking was in an enclosed garage. Short walking distance to wharf area, sights, dinning and shopping. 3 to 10 blocks. Watch what day you are here. Lots of things closed on Mondays.

We were traveling by tandem bike and the management allowed us to leave our bike parked overnight on their gated and locked patio. We felt it was safe and didn't have to worry about it.

I would stay here again! The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The elevator floor was a bit damp and dirty at times during our stay.

This building is not designed to receive customers in a convenient way, probably because of the age. * Must take stairs to get to the elevator, not good when you have multiple suitcases. * Have to park on the busy road to go into the lobby to register, only two spots available, other wise, pay for parking if you can find anywhere close, then walk to the hotel to register, then go back to car and move it again. *Underground parking may not be available when you arrive then you have to find street parking and pay by the hour. *No air conditioning, windows open slightly for circulation. Hard to sleep during summer heat. Table top fan not adequate. *Advertises restaurant on website ( closed down and for sale) Had to find a place for breakfast. Lobby assistant should have informed us at arrival and offered places close by for breakfast instead of us figuring this out for ourselves. Next time I will pay double or triple for Victoria's better quality hotels so I can have what I feel are basic expectations.

Hotel & room were clean & nice. The listing says “limited oversized parking” (or something similar), they do not specifically mention that the height limit is 6ft. We could not fit a factory height F150 in the garage & were advised to park in 1 of 2 specific oversized spots that are very close together & by the hotel linen laundry area. If you are expecting to park anything other than a car, know that it won’t fit in the garage & there are only 2 oversized parking spots that are so tight that you can only get in/out of one side of the vehicle when parked. Decent area, lots of restaurants/bars/coffee within easy walking distance.
