It's the People !
We visited Maximillian a month earlier (actually looking for another property that had closed). After meeting Erica at reception, we knew we would choose Maximillian ! So generous and pleasant, Erica took time to advise us about many aspects for our next Vienna visit. Upon return last week, Erica remembered us and introduced us to Samuel... another gracious and thoughtful younf host. Maximillian is new, modern, luxurious. But, it's Vienna. There are lots of those. For us, it's the people. Samuel and Erica are only two of the entire staff representing a property who clearly promotes a "Customer Care" philosophy. We don't need to look for a place in Vienna for next time. Maximillian !

The hotel is walking distance from the train station and the palace gardens which is a huge plus. Big room, comfy bed and spacious shower area, would recommend!

Neues Hotel mit durchgelegenen Matratzen
Während das Maximilian neu ist scheint bei Matratzen gespart worden zu sein. Viel zu weich und in der Mitte durchgelegen, sorgen sie für Rückenschmerzen beim Aufstehen.

Mycket trevligt hotell som ligger intill vackra Schönbrunn, Lite svårt att hitta parkering men lyckades till slut få en plats utmed en tvärgata där det var gratis att stå över helgen,

Zeer goed hotel, top service.
We hadden een vroege vlucht heen, en we mochten reeds om 09.30 op de kamer! Ook een late uitcheck was geen probleem. Uiteraard hangt dit ook af van de mogelijkheden op dat moment, maar dus geweldige service! Men heeft ook speciaal de sauna (zeer mooi maar net rond 85°) voor ons vroeger opgewarmd zodat we nog voor onze uitcheck 2 uur hebben kunnen genieten. Ontbijt is zeer volledig, zonder in overdadigheid te vervallen. Kamer was zeer ruim, frigo perfect, alles heel stil en rustig, terras OK maar geen zonzijde voor de terrassen. Matrassen wat doorgezakt, maar grotendeels OK. Kingsize bed bestaat uit 2 éénpersoons bodems naast elkaar, en 2 éénpersoons dekbedden. Dus niet echt kingsize. Alles zeer proper en goed onderhouden, badkamer zeer OK. TV scherm vast tegen de muur geen HDMI connectie mogelijk. WIFI en Internet verbindingen zeer efficiënt. Airco niet nodig gehad, dus geen evaluatie. Voor restauratie en bar wordt doorverwezen naar verbonden naastliggend Parkhotel Schönbrunn. Ligt ongeveer 6 km van oud stadscentrum, maar uitstekende verbindingen via frequent openbaar vervoer vlakbij. Ook taxistandplaats aan hotel. Hotel ligt pal naast een zij-ingang van het onwaarschijnlijk mooie, gigantische Schönbrunn park, vlak aan het Palmenhaus (serres) Als het bedcomfort iets beter had geweest mocht dit voor mij 4 sterren krijgen. Beslist een aanrader voor enkele dagen Wenen.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Schönes, großes Zimmer, gutes Bett (haben super geschlafen). Der einzige Minuspunkt war der, dass die Zimmerreinigung sehr spät am Nachmittag statt fand. Das ist unangenehm, wenn man am Nachmittag sich mal zurück ziehen und ruhen möchte. Denn wer möchte schon ruhen, wenn befürchtet werden muss, dass jederzeit das Reinigungspersonal kommt, und zwar am späten Nachmittag? Sonst war aber alles bestens.
