We were rebooked to another Property Niu Franz hotel which was almost 45 mins away and bot S bahn and streets car close to the property were close or under construction which made it very inconvufor public transport so either you walk far or take a bolt taxi. Property is okay.

We chose this hotel for location. Two days before I received an email in German informing me the hotel was closed and we had been booked into another hotel a good distance from our original choice which required us to Uber wherever we wanted to go. We asked for complimentary breakfast as compensation and they agreed. They also offer a free drink if you choose not to have housekeeping. Unfortunately we put the sign the wrong way and they would not honour the drink. The room was fine and the breakfast was fine.

I am reviewing the property for hotel Franz as 5 days prior to arrival they told me they overbooked and sent me elsewhere to their sister property.The service and staff at this property was mediocre , they were unhelpful with my questions and issues with getting sent to this property. Was told I would have taxi service for the inconvenience, new property had no information and didn’t bother to help, original property did not respond to my emails . Will not book again

Good To See It Back!
This is the first time we have been back since pre covid and the refurbishment. We love this hotel-the staff are fantastic and very helpful. It is close to all the transport links. Breakfast was included and was extensive. We will be back-that is for sure!

Terrible stay. Please avoid!!!!
Will never recommend this property 1. The originally booked room is not available and we were given less than ideal room as replacement 2. The room door was broken and there was no technician to fix in the night. We were forced to sleep with unlocked door overnight 3. It was very hot inside room and the aircon was not functional and we were told that the aircon wan not working throughout the property

Lovely hotel, very close to the station, a few minutes walk to Belvedere Palace and a short tram ride away from the other main tourist areas (although we did walk if on a few occasions). Friendly and efficient stagf. Nice continental breakfast.

A recently modified hotel, retaining its traditional, grand style in a relaxed atmosphere. Large reception rooms and clean airy bedroom and bathroom and friendly helpful staff. A good selection of generous breakfast courses on the 1st floor restaurant. A good local traditional Tyrollean restaurant on the doorstep, with others close by. conveniently located within 10 minute walk from the main railway station which also including underground U1, U3 lines plus trams and local buses. We are already looking forward to returning.
