The view was the best part, the small pool was nice, and the orange bathtub in the Giallo suite was fun. The wall air conditioning barely worked in the Giallo suite, making it uncomfortable in August for anyone accustomed to central air. The big disappointment was the Verde Vietri suite - even though the air conditioner was much better, the room smelled like mold and there were a lot of ants on the wall behind the bed (I have photos), making it difficult to get our kids to sleep in there. When other guests arrived in the upper unit, we lost our sense of privacy because their deck overlooks the yard and we had to listen to their choice of music. The location is beautiful, but made it difficult to get to town due to the steep street and most people not speaking English for us to figure out the bus routes. Make sure to include the cost of cabs or Uber in your budget for this location, if unable to walk steep steps. The town was enjoyable, with restaurants and pottery shops.
