A three-star hotel with a 5* badge
A very disappointing experience. The room was minuscule, the closets were TINY (and NOT what you would expect in a supposedly 5-star hotel), one of the light fittings was hanging off the wall, the shower door seal did not work (thus flooding the bathroom every time you took a shower), the breakfast was very ho-hum… I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel, even if the staff (front desk, porters, dining room, etc.) were all very pleasant and professional.

Overall the hotel needs some TLC. Great location and views but looking a bit dated. Hotel hosts many weddings which cause a damper on your vacation. Bar staff was phenomenal as was some of the front desk as well. Been here 4 times but I don’t think I will be back.

We ended up getting a weird room. Not great or comfortable. Didn’t have a real shower just a hand held sprayer. Nothing like the pictures. The only thing that made up for it was the view.

My family and I stood at Hotel Raito for 5 nights. Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful (Brigitta and others truly helped with tour booking). Dining area is beautiful and the food was good too. My only issue would be the limited Food option at the pool bar (really can only get a ham and cheese sandwich or fruit). Overall the stay was very good.

Fantastic view from our room balcony, beautiful breakfast, beautiful hotel and pool and friendly and helpful staff (especially Abram, Charlotte, Victoria and Ernesto). Not really walkable to the town but the shuttle bus provided helped out there, just need to plan your times and book ahead. Easy public bus access to the beach/marina and the next door ferry to the rest of the Amalfi coast. Love it! We were sorry to leave and would go back in a heartbeat.

Upon check-in we noticed that our bathroom had a terrible smell of sewage and the room was extremely warm, despite the air-conditioning running. We notified reception once of the issues, and they did nothing to resolve them. We complained a second time, they claimed to adjust the air-conditioning on their system manually (it was still just as hot) and sent a concierge to spray some deodoriser in the bathroom to try mask the smell. The sewage smell persisted throughout our 3-night stay, worsening every time we had a shower or using the bathroom sink. The air-conditioning was adjusted for a third time which made the room somewhat tolerable for sleeping. We should have been re-located to another room whilst the hotel sorted out these issues critical to our enjoyment during the stay. On the surface this hotel is impressive with beautiful views of the coast, a wonderful pool area and multiple dining options. However the condition of the interior is somewhat dated and needing maintenance (stained hallway floors, damaged walls and so on). Having stayed in several locations along the Amalfi Coast prior, I recommend considering an alternate option for the price charged.

This was my wife and my first trip to Italy and I have to say it was nothing short of perfection. Hotel Raito was absolutely stunning, set high up the views are quite simply some of the best I’ve ever seen. The hotel itself is stunning, clean and very friendly staff especially ‘Jonny’ by the swim up pool bar. Both restaurants at the hotel are very high calibre with great pasta and Pizza using local produce. The local town is like something out of a movie stunning and buzzing with families. We will certainly be back.

Great views and common areas are nice. Being from the US, this hotel would be a strong 3 or maybe a 4 star hotel. Certainly not a 5 star. We requested a clothes iron multiple times but were never supplied one. Room was on the small side and very basic. Rug in the hallway was dirty. Parking was tight. Gym is tiny and limited. No indoor pool. Not worth the cost.

Hotel Raito was a very welcoming experience. They have great customer service and we were shown immediately to our room as well as the spa at our request. They provided us with complimentary sandals for our stay. The room was quiet, with a lovely, large balcony overlooking the sea. There is a pool area, which was very nice, with a swim up bar! and our room had breakfast included, which was a great breakfast! Lots of options. The room was comfortable. We just wish we stayed here for more than one night!!
