"We truly enjoyed our time in Beatrice's home in the hills north of Verona. The home makes the most of its relatively small footprint with a well-equipped kitchen and dining space on the ground floor with a half bath. On the first floor (2nd for Americans) there is a spacious bedroom. On the second is another bedroom and a spacious bathroom. Beatrice was so helpful with bus and train schedules. We were able to take Bus 52 in and out of Verona and avoid driving our rental car. The drive up to the house is a little narrow, so not having to drive was a gift. The grocery store and bus stop were both short walks from the house. There is also a pharmacy between the bus stop and grocery store."

"It is just the perfect spot for people like us who love staying in the nature and away from the crowds. But still able to reach all you need with just a short drive. Simply perfect if you travel with your pet. The place has been renovated with a lot of charme. Still, stay away if on the contrary you like posh places and central position. But if you love the countryside as we do it is simply paradise on earth."

"During our time in Italy, we stayed in four locations and this was our favorite. It is such a comfortable home, with thoughtful attention to detail. The location is beautiful, nestled in olive groves and overlooking mountain vineyards. The hosts were kind and attentive. You do need a car to get around as it is outside the city, which was the only drawback. However, the property made that worth the effort. We would absolutely recommend this property!"
