Yanet’s place was an excellent choice for me in Viñales because if its location (walkable to centre of town) but mostly I recommend it because of Janet. Upon my arrival she set me up on a horse tour with an excellent guide (to be picked up in 30 minutes) and was also offered to arrange other activities (trip to the beach, which I declined). I enjoyed the meals (breakfast and dinner) she made for me over my three day stay.

They are the most lovely hosts I’ve had in Cuba. The home is comfortable, well kept, and very clean. Location quiet as it is off the main street but also short walking distance to the bus station. There’s also view of the mountains from the balcony. Highly recommended.

Great location and host
The place is right by the bus stop and the main part of town. The room is big, with AC, and there was always hot water. Yanet is a great host and goes out of her way to help you with whatever you need.

Friendly and relaxing stay
Yanet welcomed me into her family home with open arms. She met me at the bus station and arranged excursions so that I could enjoy my time in Viñales without worry. Her family patiently helped me practice Spanish while giving me space to relax and enjoy the view of the Mogotes right from the balcony. Their home is very clean, comfortable, and the room had it's own fridge with cool water which was a welcome treat on hot afternoons. I ate breakfasts and dinners at their table, and Yanet packed me a lunch for my trip to the beach. The food was delicious and very clearly made with love. I can't recommend enough.

Staying with Cuban families instead of in mass / luxury tourist facilities can of course present a few more challenges, but is much more rewardable. Yanet and Maritza are very friendly and helpful hosts. Maritza's meals (I had four) were delicious and the best of my trip in Cuba, and Yanet makes excellent cocktails (I had loads!).The room was comfortable, with a good bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, and lovely views over some of Viñales' mogotes. The location in a block if flats with a few easy stairs is very close to the main street in Viñales. Internet connection is the only slight deficiency, but this is due to internet issues generally in Cuba; you just have to ask the hosts to be connected.

Yanet y Yeney son amables, atentas, el cuarto privado limpio, cama comoda, el AA enfria, ellas ofrecen almuerzo y cena, sabrosa y bien servida,(con cargo), ofrecen ademas los tours a Cayo Jutias, tours internos en Viñales y alrededores Yanet and Yeney are so kind, the room is clean, comfortable beds, with AA; they cook traditional and delicious meals (with a fair charge); they also offer tours to Cayo Jutias, in Viñales, etc....

Nous avons beacoup apprécié l'hospitalité de Yanet et de sa mère Maritza. Nous avons pris les repas du soirs et le petit-déjeuner qui etaient excellent !!! La vue magnifique. Le mari de yanet parle francais, nous avons fait une excursion avec lui. Tres beau coin a visiter. Nous recommandons cette region et leur logement. Tres accueillant

Janet y su familia me acogieron como uno de ellos, son muy buena gente, adorable,honrada y divertida. Fue una experiencia auténtica ,única, extraordinaria, me llevo unos amigos de viñales, ya los echo de menos. La comida es riquísima y abundante, hay todo lo necesario y te ayudan siempre. Después de viajar por medio mundo no recuerdo un sitio mejor.

Yanet et sa famille nous ont accueillis de façon très chaleureuse. Ici on se sent comme chez soi. Yanet s'est montrée très attentionnée à notre égard. Un verre de jus de mangue et une soupe de frijoles pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue et le ton était donné. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce lieu unique et plein d'amour à l'ensemble de la planète. Un petit cocon
N'hésitez pas une seconde ! Yanet est adorable. Elle a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous et pour nous faire plaisir. La maison est très bien (salle de bain privative) et parfaitement propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. Le dîner est succulent ! Yanet nous a aussi préparé des sandwichs pour notre virée à la plage. Elle nous a proposé plein d'activités très intéressantes. Si vous avez envie de vous laisser guider, vous pouvez complètement vous reposer sur elle. Vinales est un village charmant et reposant. Ce fut une expérience merveilleuse ! Toute la famille est très accueillante. La maman de Yanet est très bienveillante et même la petite Angeline est super mignonne. Le mari est un très bon guide. Gros bisous à toi Yanet et à toute ta famille !

Estar lejos de casa se convierte a veces en un estres o ansiedad muy grande, llegar a Villa Yanet y Maritza simplemente es estra tranquilo en un lugar familiar, donde te sientes parte de ellos mismos. Estas amables damas y su familia son simplememte una experiencia unica para muchos que viajamos solos a paises nuevos. Recomendado al 100 por ciento. Rica comida, Juguito de bienvenida y el cafecito uff hacen la diferencia, sin dejar de mencionar las grandes tertulias en el balconcito con vista al pueblo y los bellos paisajes de Viñales,donde además te orientan de que hacer o visitar en el pueblo.Espero regresar pronto a Cuba y a ese lugar con mucha más. Yanet and her mom are the nicest hosts ever. She even arranged us a tour in the valley. The room is very nice as on the photos, clean, breakfast and dinner was plenty and incredibly tasty. Yanet can also make amazing Daiquiri :) We have been treated not as guests but family/friends. They helped us with literally everything and made sure we are having a great time, which we absolutely did. I can only can recommend this accomodation

Herzlichkeit welche nicht kaufbar ist
Es gibt Dinge welche kaufbar sind, dann gibt es Dinge für welche es keine Mastercard oder dergleichen gibt. Das habe ich in der Villa Yanet y Maritza angetroffen. Die beiden Gastgeberinnen bemühen sich herzlich um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste und versuchen deren Aufenthalt so gut wie möglich zu gestalten. Ein herzliches Dankeschön dafür, die beiden waren die herzlichsten Gastgeberinnen welche ich auf meiner 14 tägigen Kubareise angetroffen habe. Das Zimmer selbst ist zweckdiendlich ausgestattet, gut unterhalten und sauber.

Servicios ofrecidos en la casa mucho mas caros que en la calle (escursiones y comida). No nos informaron de las posibilidades de servicios turisticos que ofrece Viñales mas economicos. Poca privacidad e intimidad. En la web ofrecen piscina, que no hemos visto, y wifi, que no nos ofrecieron. Tuvimos que pedir la wifi y solo la usamos 15 minutos. Es una segunda planta con escaleras. A pesar de todo la habitación es grande y cómoda, se descansa bién. Buen aire acondicionado
