Great place for our extended family getaway
Beach house was perfect location for a quick weekend getaway. We loved being able to walk over to Croatian beach for sunrise. Host was super responsive and allowed us to check in early and check out late which was a huge help!

Spacious Home Near the Beach
A family of six spent the week at this property and had a wonderful time. There was a short walk to the beach (a couple of blocks). The neighbors were extremely friendly and offered suggestions when asked. The property manager was very responsive prior, during and post stay with any questions we had. The house is very spacious with a unique setup. Plenty of room for the six of us. We were a short ride to the boardwalk as well as other conveniences (Aquarium, Go-Karts, water park, grocery store, coffee, etc). The beds were comfortable. All the necessary dishes and utensils were available. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back again!

Wonderful house for a beach vacation with friends
This is a beautiful house and great for a beach vacation. The host was responsive as well. Downsides: they only have one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and they don't have any toiletries. The attic bedroom window also doesn't have a curtain or blinds. Other than that it was great!!

The place was exactly what we needed for a group of 12 adults. Celebrated mom-grandma 95th Birthday. Betsy was awesome. Responded quickly with any questions that we had. Would highly recommend staying here. Will use again. Bed are comfortable. Enough bathrooms.

Our family had a great time at Croatan Beach House. The floor plan was really ideal for our family, lots of space to stretch. The Kitchen was well supplied, two coffee makers made our wake-up the best! Betsy did an excellent job communicating with us on any issues (Cox cable was doing some work outside). We really enjoyed the location and the ability to be close to the water. We are looking forward to returning next year! Craig/Connie

Close to beach and nearby attractions. House looks attractive from afar but needed more TLC in many spots. Porches needed replacing, wood rotting and loose. Some smaller bedrooms needed newer mattresses and showers with better temperature control. Gas grill was all rusted and cover ripped…unusable. Owner was very responsive throughout stay with issues that could be resolved while we were there..such as “green” water in hot tub (we couldn’t use it for 3 days before it was cleaned).

We spent Christmas at Croatian Beach while visiting relatives in Virginia Beach. The house was big enough for two families to share, while still providing space for all 6 of us to gather. The beach was two short blocks away. The house was clean and comfortable. We had one question and the owner responded very quickly, even on Hristmas Day! It was a great trip.

The location was perfect- minutes from the south end of the Boardwalk. We loved being 5 minutes from a lifeguarded beach. The neighborhood was safe and beautiful. Check in was very easy and the property manager was very responsive to our needs. So why did I give an overall rating of 4 instead of 5? The furnishing are tired. It did not effect our good time, but for the cost, I would have hoped for better. With

The house was spacious and close to the beach but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. we discovered dead cockroaches on various areas of the house and the linens needed to be washed...so we washed them prior to use. This is unacceptable given the amount of money paid to rent this property.

Great vacation!
I can’t say enough about the customer service with Betsy. The first day there I noted a few frying pans were damaged along with the toaster. She had a new toaster, frying pans, glasses, measuring cups and spoons and a new coffee maker delivered the next morning at 8am before breakfast. She also had the hot tub serviced because i told her it was cloudy. The location to the beach is two short blocks. Plenty of space and privacy for all couples. Especially loved the master suit and bathroom. Very safe and friendly neighborhood far enough away from the strip to feel safe and social distancing at the beach was no problem. We rented bikes and ride everyday to different areas of the strip and First Landing State Park and took a morning dip in the ocean. Will definitely return!

Quite beach location
This home has a lot of space for guests to sleep, and kitchen has everything you would need for cooking. Only 2 and half miles to great restaurants, and walk to beach is a block and half away.
