Awesome sunsets from the covered porch overlooking the beautiful Back Bay! Enjoy this custom cottage located just one short block from Sandbridge Beach. Our cottage was built in 2010 and has only been owner occupied until 2017. This cottage has everything you could ever need in a vacation rental. Full size residential stainless appliances including a gas stove. Private and secure internet provided. Comfortable memory foam queen size bed. Loving memories await you here at DUN e NUF !

Location was awesome .... beautiful sunsets and a short trip to beachfront .... nice restaurants and a market nearby .... exterior and porch pictures, however, were very misleading .... must've been taken quite a while ago .... do not expect that which you see outside ....

RV park by the bay
Great communication very friendly, even came by to check and see if we needed anything. Perfect location right off the bay to relax with coffee and a view. Short walk to the beach access in front of condos. Some free parking at the entrance of RV park so you don’t have to walk through the neighborhood with all your bags. Little island playground/ beach access couple min away with bathhouse and rinse station. Parking was $4 but definitely worth it. Nature reserve is also very close. Nice walking trails and mini pretend road to the beach was cute. Hardly anyone was there except fisherman. Enough space for a little family and small dog. Only cons were the dusty vents and a few cobwebs inside. Mostly on the porch with lots of spiders overhead. Kind of expected with an open porch but we didnt want to hang out on it. Overall the place was clean and had any needed appliances although the inside of the toaster oven and microwave were deteriorated a bit. Fridge was clean and didn’t buzz. The ac vent in the kitchen was very loud.The bed was comfortable but creaky. There’s not enough room for a pack n play in the bedroom if you have a toddler. The couch is clean and fine to sit for tv but not comfortable to sleep on. We enjoyed our stay and recommend for couples or small families with one child.

Falsely advertised and ant infested
The title of this property is misleading, it is a trailer and not a "COTTAGE" as it's listed as. The area is beautiful and I could have overlooked that. However the place is full of ants, needs a heavy duty cleaning and lacked even the most basic supplies. VRBO doesn't care, even with photographic evidence, so buyer beware.

The trailer/cottage was nice and the important things like kitchen and bathroom and beds were clean but there were plenty of cobwebs up around ceilings and curtains and some around windows. Looked like it needed a good spring cleaning. the deck outside was nice for sitting and enjoying the view of the bay.

Nice relaxing spot
We came in town for a concert but also for wife’s 50th birthday. Kept it a secret as best we could. She was pleasantly surprised and the place was exactly what we were anticipating. Very happy with the entire process. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Spiders and webs all over
Pros: great location, good communication, great check in, comfortable bed, close to beach Cons: dirty, spiders and webs everywhere, mold in stove, countertop sink and table and chairs dirty, spiders hanging from ceiling in bathroom, could not sit on porch with spiders everywhere, air conditioner very dirty and very noisy, refrigerator very noisy, sofa bed was a very uncomfortable spring mattress, ants coming in on kitchen counter, beach cart is rusty and wheels rusted. Could not use it. Beach chairs covered with spiders and webs. Did not use. Looks like she doesnt clean anything. Host was very nice and great communication. Resort is very nice. The resort pool is nice.

Best vacation location!
Our stay was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time! The location was a 10/10! The host is super nice, water right out your back door and always a breeze! The place is perfect.It was clean and tidy and had any appliance you might need! Loved it and will definitely come back. The community is very nice with a pool. Location is great, out of the hustle and bustle of the oceanfront.

Summary of our stay
The fire that started in the oven while trying to cook our dinner was alarming however thankful we all acted quickly and used the fire extinguisher. What a mess to try to clean up. There was a plastic cutting board that was left in the warmer draw, under the oven part of the stove. The key that was left doesn't fit the key hole which is the door leading into the back bedroom so we had to leave the trainer unlocked when we would leave to go out. We would have preferred to lock our things up. At first I thought the trainer wasn't clean due to the fire extinguisher substance however after taking a closer look it wasn't. The sofa and chair in the living room needs cleaning, clean ceilings and walls (cobwebs and spiderwebs, and mold in vents). The ac window unit filter wasn't clean in sometime. And the floor was filthy through out the trainer. I was hopeful that the property manager would have taken some money off given the fire experience but as of this morning nothing has been credited to my account. For a $700 stay (2 nights) this is way over priced for the experience we had. Please note the property manager was very apologetic and did respond to my phone calls.

Beautiful Property
The view at this property is spectacular. You could spend all day sitting on the porch or outside. It is also only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bed and other furniture is comfortable. Close to nearby restaurants and a small grocery store is just write up the road. Its also close to a bunch of farmstands and seafood stores. About 20 minutes from VA Beach if you want to venture up there. Had a really nice time. I would book again.

A perfect location on the Back Bay and a 3 or 4 minute walk to the Atlantic Beach. The cottage is cozy, clean, and coordination with the host was easy. It is a beautiful spot! Its size is just right for a couple. Thank you for a great experience.

Great communication with owners
The owners called us the day before our arrival to touch base. While we were at the rental, we had a very rare unfortunate experience out of the owners control and they stayed on top of the situation and communicated with us frequently giving us updates. Something we rarely see these days unfortunately. They kept us informed and provided alternate solutions to make our stay they best it could have been under the short-term unfortunate situation. Really thought they handled the situation extremely well and we enjoyed our stay!

Stunning View
The view and yard are the main attractions in this tiny house. There was plenty of wildlife to see and we were able to launch our kayaks right off of the yard. The neighbors were friendly and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood pool was nice and the walk to the beach is about half a mile. There are beach chairs and a beach cart for your use. The main bed was comfortable and the inside was clean. We enjoyed the outside porch, which is mostly enclosed with vinyl curtains, but it could use a good cleaning and some new furniture. It did add to the size of the useable space of the home, but it also got pretty hot out there. That said, I was able to eat breakfast every morning on the porch and enjoy the view. It's very cramped inside, especially if you have 4 people and use the couch as a bed, but we anticipated that and it was fine for us because we spent most of our time at the beach, kayaking from the yard, on the porch, or hanging out with friends at the Sanctuary condos across the street. Unexpected bonus--my 20-something kids were happily obsessed with everything about the tiny house. They loved it! We did find it difficult to cook a large meal because of the cramped quarters and also the lack of/disorganization of the kitchen cookware, tools, etc. We also loved that it is pet friendly. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely go back.

Mobil home on the Bay
This was a mobil home (not a "cottage") right on Chesapeake Bay that was in a good location. It was a short 10 minute walk to the beach and a 30 - 45 minute drive to Virginia Beach/Norfolk attractions. It was a perfect size place for 2 people and we were happy to be able to bring our 2 small dogs without paying a huge extra fee to have them there. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The pictures on VRBO are a little outdated. We enjoyed our stay!

Just Perfect
We stayed here for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was just perfect. The location and the beautiful views from the deck was just what we needed. The cottage has a great deck and porch area. Location to the beach and nice restaurants a plus for our stay. Will be back for a stay.

Great Location!
We could walk to the beach and a nice restaurant/bar. I kayaked right out of the backyard and into Back Bay NWR. The waterfront view is outstanding. We had such a nice stay. Wish it could have been longer.
