Neptune fest weekend
Location was great! There is a new-ish highrise on the southside of the building so you can't see down the beach. I say new-ish because it isn't shown in the picture on the hotel.com website. Complimentary breakfast was ok but the same each day. Tub was very slippery and the fixtures such as the curtain rod were showing age. Bathroom was huge, could have used some extra towel hooks on the blank wall. Room was described as 2 queen beds with den....the "den" was a loveseat squished into the corner. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful!

The only issue I had was my family and I stayed for 5 days and we were told maid service only comes af checkout. .we constantly had to keep calling the front desk for cleaning supplies and trash pickup. We also had to request vacuum cleaning services.

It’s a pet friendly hotel. I did not realize this before booking. Wish I had actually read the description of the hotel more thoroughly. Had I known, I would not have stayed there. The lobby and elevators were messy. Coffee is terrible. Not a big deal but I need my morning coffee. It’s awful there.

Great stay despite the aroma in the room
We loved the hotel and the restaurant/bar area. The breakfast was good too. There was a scent of smoke in the room which we called about but did not hear back. That was the ONLY thing that was a problem. The rest of the stay was fantastic!

This was my first time coming to Virginia beach so i did some research beforehand on where to stay by reading reviews both the good an not so good. I chose Hyatt house and it was everything I had hoped for from the room to the interactions with the staff .

Our stay at the Hyatt was terrific. The hotel was beautiful, especially impressed with the dining and the breakfast buffet was great. The room was immaculate and the motion sensor in the bathroom. was a very, very nice feature. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating especially Phoenix and Taylor. I hope to return to one day. I have to admit however the destination fee was an unexpected and almost cost me a financial situation. I believe that cost should be more transparent in advertising the facility. The fee did not distract from the terrific time we had thank you so very much.
