Ocean Daze is the perfect vacation home for those who love the beauty of the beach. It is a treasure that will call you back year after year. Located in the quiet community of Sandbridge in Virginia Beach, this stunning gem has all the amenities you could wish for in a vacation home and is only steps from the ocean! We have tried to think of everything you will need to relax while you are on vacation.

FIRST FLOOR
The first floor contains a lounge area with cable television. This area is perfect for unwinding from a wonderful day at the beach. Open the sliding glass doors and exit to a patio overlooking the Atlantic. There are also 5 bedrooms (1 King with private bath, 2 queens with private baths) and two other bunk rooms off the lounge area. The first floor also contains a laundry area with a washer and dryer for your personal use.

SECOND FLOOR
The second floor has wide open spaces and beautiful natural light that make it bright and airy as a beach house should have. The living room has a 60’ television, comfortable seating for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked complete with 2 refrigerators, dishwasher and large farmer sink that make cleaning up a breeze after cooking a delicious family meal. The custom dining room table has plenty of seating for everyone in your party and is perfect for your meal, playing games or just catching up. The master bedroom on this floor has a king bed and private bath, and deck access that overlooks the beach. The second bedroom has a queen bed and private bath.

OUTSIDE
The wonderful ground level deck has everything ping-pong table, foosball table, outdoor shower, and sitting area to enjoy the ocean breeze. It is the perfect spot to grill your lunch or dinner. There are 2 other decks with plenty of seating and lounge chairs which are great for sunset cocktails. It is the perfect spot to grill your lunch or dinner.

This is an all-inclusive property rental that includes everything you need to make your vacation experience a success. All linens and towels are included so that all you need to do is show up with those flip flops and a smile on your face. Ocean Daze Was Great
Great location, access and proximity to the beach was excellent (best we have ever had)! Kitchen was superbly equipped. We had 7 adults and 3 children and it was plenty of room. Nice deck set up, pool and fire pit was a plus. A couple of issues - no ice maker and the one in the kitchen did not work. -- Description should clarify that the "travel crib" noted on the website should be called a bassinet/bed suitable for just an infant - QR code posted in the kitchen for take out delivery does not work - a few spider webs in the top upper windows of the main living area off the kitchen

Outdoor Oasis
Summer Daze has it all when it comes to outside living. The numerous outside games and amenities kept our family outside from morning to night. We kayaked with the dolphins in the morning and surfed as the sunset in the evening. We spent hours every day in the pool and hot tub. The giant outdoor chess set was fun for all ages. And the ambience with the fire pit in the evening was like no other house we’ve ever stayed at. Inside is spacious and welcoming. A large dining room and bar seating makes it easy for everyone to enjoy dining together. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped for all of your needs including 2 refrigerators which is so nice. The views from the home are unbelievable with multiple levels of outdoor deck space. Beautiful and comfortable furniture. We have been vacationing in the OBX for almost 30 years and this is by far the best outdoor space we have ever had. (Other amazing outdoor amenities worth mentioning: large tv, refrigerator, bar area, bathroom, corn hole and so much more!)

The location of the house was absolutely perfect. You are steps from the beach. We had a wonderful time and definitely would go back. A few things need to be fixed in the house such as the sliding door off the kitchen is very hard to close and was off the track a lot. And also the garbage disposal stopped working, a few days into our stay. There were a lot of lights that were not working outside lights that the property manager was very quick to come over and fix. They were very responsive when you reached out to them, but there are a few things in the home that need to be fixed.

A lovely week
9 adults and 7 kids aged 3-17 stayed here for a week. We had a lovely time. The “basement” was the star of the show. All of the outdoor amenities that are shade covered made it so nice for the people in our group to be part of the fun while being in the shade. The outdoor bar, tv, bathroom and outdoor fridge make the house! The beds were comfortable, multiple decks with great furniture to enjoy some quiet time. We used the fire pit every night! We saw dolphins every day off the shore. We used the kayaks once and that was fun! We had one minor toilet issue and the owner came and fixed it within a few hours. We walked to Baja for dinner one night, and also to Jose Tequilas both were great! We typically vacation in OBX but honestly we all liked Sandbridge better. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house with awesome beach access!
Stayed in April with my immediate family. Lots of room, The beach access is fantastic, and the outdoor areas and porch are really great too. Great views! My only critique was that compared to a lot of VRBOs I’ve stayed at, they didn’t have some little necessities like hand soap and hair drier, etc that make for a minor inconvenience. But that may be normal for beach houses in the area. Would def stay there again! Great house and nice owners!

Jennifer and Kathy were wonderful to chat with! Questions on fishing licenses to best fresh shrimp to buy. There isn’t a thing I would change in this house. Outside chess was a crowd pleaser. They moved the game upstairs when it got dark. Pool was beautiful, just a little cold since it was just opened. Loved the hot tub! Thanks again!

Work Retreat

A new Thanksgiving tradition
Our family was very pleased with the property. The beds and rooms were all comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There were many cook tools, and pots and dishes that was much more than we expected but very much needed. The owner was around and was very pleasant and communicative and Helpful. Would love to do it again.
