Very convenient to get to from the interstate. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although the bathroom could have used a little more cleaning. Nothing really dirty or gross, but some things were definitely overlooked. This hotel is directly across the parking lot from a nightclub that has live music until after midnight. And it’s loud. We had the tv and a sound machine on and could still hear it. The hotel is also in the direct flight path for the naval airbase. It is very loud in this area. On the day of check out, a random man from the hotel knocked on our door at 10:30 am and then left. Even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. As a single mother traveling alone with a child, who does not know anyone in this city, this was definitely concerning. I asked at the front desk about it and was told sometimes they do that since check out is 11, just to see if anybody needs towels to shower. I have stayed in many hotels in VA Beach and all over the US and this has never happened anywhere else. Also, the room security is minimal at best. One lock on the door, nothing else.

The carpet was soaking wet in one spot and made the room smell really bad. All of the outlets were loose expect for one. The bed was hard as a rock.

I did like the place was close to the beach for 2 mins. It would be much better to serve breakfast but the stays was really cozy.

No water pressure to take a shower and the ceiling in the shower was patched and falling apart. ( half of the ceiling where you stand ) bathroom was so small you could not dry off comfortably. The stairs were awful walking up them to the room in the rain . Staff was very kind but I left 3 days early and couldn’t get a refund at all .
