We liked everything about the property - location, staff, restaurant options, parking, etc. However, the air conditioner was not working properly and even though the staff tried to get it going, it was never resolved. Our room was so hot, no matter what anybody tried to do. We finally shut it off completely and opened a window until a cat appeared in the window in the middle of the night. :/

Lovely hotel.
Perfect location in the heart of this fantastic city. We were given an upgrade to a suite and it was gorgeous, spacious and had beautiful furnishings. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Nice location and building but needs attention
My negative evaluation is mostly based on my key no longer working when we wanted to leave and it taking well over an hour to find a solution (they gave me a discount for this). Another problem his hotel has is attention to detail - the hallway rugs are filthy and no one seems to vacuum the stairs. In addition the third bed in the room had an uncomrtable hard mattress. And the beautiful little garden over the town gate is apparently only available for the large suite. In spite of it (and the small garden next to the breakfast room) being totally overgrown and in terrible shape, it would be nice to have these spaces available to all guests.

We were staying overnight and didn't know what to expect. The staff were very helpful the room was clean and in the centre of the town.
