Convenient and Nice but Eat Elsewhere.
The hotel is very nice, comfortable and well-appointed It's a 30 second walk from the ferry terminal, which is nice. The restaurant is marginal. The food is nicely presented but just ok. It feels overpriced, especially breakfast, considering the fare offered. Also, the way it works is bewildering... when we arrived at 20:30, on the late ferry, the guy at the check-in desk said if we wanted food, they'd be there until 21:30. So we dropped our bags in the room and went back down to order room service a few minutes later only to be told that the kitchen was closed. Similarly, there is a big sign in front announcing, "Coffee To Go" pointing into the restaurant. When I popped in one morning and asked for two coffees to go the staff really didn't know what to do. All in all, a ok stay and a nice place, just eat elsewhere.

Zeezicht means Sea view, however we booked a standard room. Was not expecting a great view or a suite. But this ended up being the smallest budget room is our 3 week trip. Our view was the island cell tower. The room is tiny. Not enough room for 2 night stands, mini closet in a alcove, no mini fridge, no coffee making facilities, just not a place you would want to stay to vacation. Went to their website and our room was not shown but all the large ones are. So be aware. Standard is budget and super small. We also used the restaurant, the dinner was awful, when we told the waitress that we did not like it and that the Spicy Thai fish soup was not spicy, had nothing to do with Thailand and tasted blah. You would think you get the manager, no it seems they are always too busy sitting in the back on their laptops? Simply we were extremely disappointed. The island is beautiful

Great resting place
Very pleasant stay due to room and personnel, I would advise to eat at other places since the kitchen is imho not that good, especially compared to the standard on The island.

Ontbijt erg prijzig voor wat je ervoor krijgt. Fruit was niet vers en weinig keuze naast sinaasappel en groene appel. Ook friese suikerbrood was droog/oud. Kamer was wat aan de bescheiden kant, stoffig en erg warm

Betten mittelmäßig und extrem unbequeme Kissen. Für die zweite Nacht haben wir andere Kissen gefordert die neuen waren jedoch genauso hoch und unbequem. Es ist sehr hellhörig, Kindergeschrei, die Dusche der Zimmer oben drüber oder die Leute auf dem Flur, man hört alles. Eine Glastür als Badezimmertür durch die man die Leute auf der Toilette sitzen sieht ist nicht die perfekte Ausstattungswahl.

The room was clean and tidy, only when I entered the bathroom there was water all over the floor. I reported the leak to management and they were able to resolve the issue very elegantly. Management was friendly and very helpful. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious! Also really conveniently located steps away from the ferry terminal. I will definitely come back here.
