There is really no need to use your car unless you wish to explore further afield to Port Isaac, Trebarwith, Tintagel, Padstow (via the ferry from Rock beach), Wadebridge, Harlyn, Watergate Bay, Constantine or inland to St Kew, St Just or other charming Cornish villages  - or along the coast to Newquay and beyond. A day trip to the Eden Project, St Ives, Falmouth, Fowey, St Mawes or to the Camel Valley Vineyard is also well worth the drive.
