We arrived at 5.15pm and found the doors closed and a sign on the door with a telephone number of the owner to call for arrivals after 4pm. We called the number and left a message, left with no option but to wait outside in a cold January day with a child. The owner called us back only 1.15h later!!! All this time we were supposed to wait outside on a cold winter afternoon. Likely for us a lady (I assume from the family) was passing by the entrance and opened the door letting us in. I understand that this is not a hotel, but they must find a solution to accommodate guests on arrival. Simply leaving them waiting outside is NOT acceptable. In addition the lady who called me back, I assume the owner, was very rude. No apologies from her side, apparently she had a dentist emergency. She was almost shouting at me and kept saying "we are not a hotel" and "this can happen".
Beds are really uncomfortable with tiny pillows, impossible to sleep on.
On a plus side, the breakfast was lovely, served by a very friendly lady.
