Don’t let the outside of this property fool you. Our room was just as it looked online. Big, cozy, clean and most importantly a comfortable bed. The tv was a little difficult to navigate but we figured it out. Great stay and if we are ever back in the area we will choose this hotel again.

Definitely dont judge this book by its cover! The room looked like it was just updated. Our bed was so comfy and our room was super clean. Only issue we had was we couldnt get the TV to connect to the internet and the live tv only had 3 channels, couldve just been our room! Other than that we really enjoyed our overnight stay!

Overall great stay but security is loose
Overall, I had a great stay with my friends. The room was great for the price and the staff who checked us in was efficient and friendly. However, there is some room for improvement. 1) placing a recycling bin that is easily accessible to the guests 2) Being more mindful about security. My key card stopped working so when I requested a new one, the staff asked for a room number but never checked my id. I could have easily been a stranger who doesn't stay there or asked for a different room key.

Don't judge a book by it's cover.
This gem was a lesson in don't judge a book by it's cover. The outside looked like an old rundown motel but the minute you open your room door is like you're transported into a fancy hotel. The bed was so soft and comfortable. I actually looked forward to coming back to the room and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was tiny and outside but didn't look dirty. I'll admit we were too busy to use it. Don't count on hotel vending, they only have a soda machine. Breakfast is a voucher for free food at a local restaurant. We were just down the road from the Badlands and a few blocks from Wall Drug.

I’ll preface this review with the fact that I never got to stay here due to a mistake on my part. That said, I had the displeasure of conversing with one staff member over the phone and she was extremely rude, unkind, and I got the sense that she was not being truthful with me. The long story short is I messed up on dates booked and was told that if someone from Expedia would call the hotel and move the booking that she would gladly do it, but I spent over an hour with Expedia chat and the property manager didn’t answer the phone for them. I booked a single night and needed it moved back 1 night and got 0 help from Expedia and 0 help from the property. I was traveling with my kids and was simply asking for a bit of kindness.
