Charming Kilburn cottage
We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. Loved the farm kittens and the views. The nature trail wasn’t open at the time of our visit as the cows were using that area but that was fine with us we walked around the farm then hiked on nearby trails, a short drive, and longer drive away. First evening there we enjoyed the take out bbq plates we got from Alyson’s Orchard across the road and up the hill at the new Orchard Tavern. We have also enjoyed meals at the Hungry Diner, a little drive away in North Walpole that is operated by the same farm and family! We definitely will be back.

Pleasant stay
Though the living quarters are cramped , they are clean, warm and cozy with everything you need . Great place for a small family to hunker down . They would benefit from a lager sofa or an easy chair to make living are more comfortable and invest in a sturdier kitchen table .
