Whether you're coming for a family vacation, a wedding, or a friends getaway, Sunnyside Farmhouse is ideally situated in a quiet country setting yet with all the comforts of home. Conveniently located on the border of southern NH and VT.

This restored farmhouse is in the heart of a working 100-acre farm. Foodies will delight in the local food scene and great local dining, including our own restaurant, The Hungry Diner, located five miles down the road.

Endless activities for any season – biking, hiking, water sports, apple picking, wineries & breweries, fly fishing, fall foliage, antiques, sledding, skiing and so much more.
The space
The sunny front porch with rocking chairs leads into an open concept living area, kitchen, and dining room. The living room is equipped with a couch and comfy seating to gather. Enjoy the puzzles and games located under the breakfast counter and TV stand.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary pots and pans, cooking utensils, spices, cooking oil, and grilling tools. There is plenty of counter space along with a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A full-sized dishwasher with detergent is provided. Off the kitchen is a large bedroom with a king-sized bed. Southern exposure makes this room bright with natural light.

A spacious laundry room is on the first floor. Detergent and cleaning supplies are provided. An additional door leads to the backyard from this room.

There are two full bathrooms. One is located downstairs off the living room and has a tub and shower combo. The second bathroom is upstairs with a large vanity and glass shower stall. Shampoo, conditioner and soap is provided.

Upstairs is the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed. This bedroom has the added New England charm of being a walk-through room to reach the third bedroom. They are separated by a curtain for privacy.

The third bedroom has two twin beds. Kids will love sleepovers in this room.

On the front lawn is our large stone fire pit and lawn furniture to relax in while star gazing and roasting marshmallows. Firewood is provided and stored on the porch.
Guest access
You have the whole house as well as the whole farm to explore. Feel free to walk up to the inn to enjoy the gardens and swing set, or explore our nature trail located at the end of the driveway which leads to our pigs and maple tree grove. We provide local coffee and a homemade baked good upon check-in. If you so choose, you can join us for a homemade farm-fresh breakfast buffet at the inn for an additional charge of $20/person. Just let us know upon check in.

We provide regular farm tours during warmer months, please ask!

Please ask to be escorted into our barns and outbuildings. We are an active working farm with many moving parts. Safety is our top priority during your stay so please close farm gates behind you and be aware of moving farm equipment. We are watching out for you, please do the same for our farm crew and livestock. Guests are not allowed to access animal areas unless escorted by a staff member.
Other things to note
This is part of a two-family home with Sunnyside Farmhouse being one side and farm staff living year-round, separately on the other side of the house. They respect your privacy and ask you to respect theirs but are happy and open to share about the farm and local area.
Our farm store is located just down the driveway and is fully stocked with our farm's meats and other great local products.

Picturesque and peaceful
Our family of six was so comfortable staying at the farmhouse and it was exactly as the listing described. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which we did several times, and the entire property was so beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality (and fresh muffins)!

Wonderful weekend
Although we are semi-locals, we wanted to find a place to rent for a friend's wedding that would keep us from driving the 45 min each way all weekend. Sunnyside farmhouse was just perfect. We loved it all, from the fresh muffins to the AMAZING coffee and the beautiful, relaxing location. Our weekend felt like a little getaway! Thank you, Tessa!!!

We stayed for two nights and had such a wonderful time. The house is centrally located to a lot of things to do and close to Keene for food and shopping. The property managers were so kind and responsive. The best part was the adorable and friendly barn cats! We loved them all!

Came in for a wedding in westmoreland nh
Our group of 5 came in for a weekend wedding in westmoreland nh. The venue turned out to be 10 miles away so it was perfect! Tessa was amazing right from the start I asked to check in a little early as I wanted to get settled before we headed to the venue where I was marrying my beautiful niece and now nephew! She had no problem at all. The house was beautiful on a nice big farm fresh baked muffins and fresh ground coffee when we arrived. The pictures online do not do this house justice. The rooms are big the bathrooms are clean and have everything you need. The front porch and view are amazing. Although we didn’t enjoy the fire pit with a fire being we were so busy we did sit down there and relax before we headed out friday to the rehearsal. On our way home sat night after a long two days I sent Tessa a message and asked if it would be ok to check out a bit later again extremely accommodating! As we left we visited the farm store where my daughter had no problem spending my money on fresh chicken and bacon(her favorite) some popcorn and some other snacks. The staff was super friendly we will definitely be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving adventure at Sunnyside. The farm was amazing- the kids lived feeding the pigs each morning. The farmhouse’ lodging was immaculate ! Everything was provided and then some. The staff and farm workers were so friendly and helpful. There was so much to do with the kids in the area. Outstanding place to stay!

Loved it!
We had so much fun staying here! The farm was amazing, we went swimming at the town pool, found some awesome hikes and picked so many delicious blueberries at Alyson’s orchard just up the road. The rocking chairs on the porch were almost never empty and the accommodations were awesome! All the farm hands/owners/managers were super nice and we even got to enjoy raspberries, zucchini, and snap peas from the garden! Don’t hesitate if you want a laid back and relaxing vacation!

Charming farmhouse in an idyllic setting
We stayed here for three days while in town for a wedding. We arrived to a clean and inviting home with a scrumptious cinnamon coffee cake on the counter. It was devoured with coffee in the morning - yum! Very pleasant and serene setting. We used the fire pit and made s’mores, had several meals around the large kitchen table. Bought some delicious bacon and jam at the store on site. Everything was great. The owners, employees and property manager were all very friendly and helpful. The upstairs bedroom configuration is something to be aware of as well as the air conditioning- it seemed to only be upstairs. Everything we needed to cook and clean was provided. Plenty of towels, linens, cookware and staples. The fresh bread, butter, milk and juice were so appreciated! All in all, it was a fantastic experience staying here and we would highly recommend!

Very quaint farmhouse on working farm!! A+
Amy, the Innkeeper was so nice and greeted us upon arrival! The Sunny Side farmhouse was a very quaint farmhouse overlooking the mountains on a working farm!! We visited for Keene State College graduation and it worked out perfectly! Please visit The Hungry Diner which is owned by the farm and they supply the eggs, meat, etc. - was excellent!!! We LOVED the barn kitties, too! The kitchen was large and very functional and the rest of the house was just perfect!! Thank you, Amy!

Great place to stay
We were very impressed- the property is extremely well maintained, Amy was very approachable and helpful, and we loved arriving with eggs, coffee, milk, and OJ provided. We used the grill that's outside the porch and it was spotless- not an easy thing to maintain on a rental property so you can tell there's a lot of care. We walked the path and also bought items in the farm store that's on the driveway. We'd stay again.

Sunnyside Farmhouse A++
Me and my group of friends had a great stay. We were in town to do some skiing and the farmhouse did not disappoint. The place was well equipped, very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was our first time in the town of Walpole. We made our way to the Hungry Diner, about a 10-15 minute drive, and had a great meal to cap off the trip. Would definitely recommend staying here with a group of friends to get a nice scenery of the countryside. The owner was very welcoming and great with answering any questions we had.

Beautiful serene NH stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Sunnyside Farmhouse! The rolling hills are right outside your door and the house itself is equipped with everything you might need. The farmhouse is a two-family house but the family next door is lovely and really accommodating. One of the highlights is definitely the farm store that sells the organic meat farmed right where you're staying (it's truly a working farm!) and has some other amazing things as well. ONLY drawback (and this is not a ding, just an FYI to potential guests who need to work remotely) was the WiFi. It worked off and on and you can't really do Zoom or streaming. This wouldn't have been an issue if we were there for a vacation, but it did pose tremendous difficulty with two people working remotely. Otherwise, couldn't recommend this spot more!
