Only issue was taking luggage from parking to our suit which was on second floor. Suit itself was nice. Having a lift will help with luggage.

I liked the location and how central it is to everything , it was in a very tidy condition despite the age of the hotel. I wish that the shower had more pressure. I had a hard time getting enough water on me . The heating system in the room was very old and out of date, the heater was on the highest setting but we were still cold in the room

Nice location but shabby property
This hotel is shabby and not what I expected. The balcony and view of the lake, plus the service at check-in, were nice, but I would not stay here again. The room is merely decent, the overall property feels shabby and old, and the bathroom sink is ridiculously small. It's nearly impossible to use it without water dripping all over the floor. I also did not like that an outside door to the parking lot in the back of the property,and leading up to our second-floor hallway, remained wide open until 10pm; it felt unsafe- anyone could wander in to our hallway.

A comfortable stay in Wanaka
This hotel did the trick. It is a basic hotel, friendly reception staff, bed was comfortable. There was access to a shared kitchen facility and self-serve laundry for guests (we didn’t use this). We were only there one night.
