An older hotel but comfortable and convenient. Unusual to not have any utensils etc in the room but there is a communal kitchen od site.

EXCELLENT stay both the first week and last week of our holiday. LOVED the close proximity to cafes, restaurants, bars & shopping, a fantastic Mexican restaurant, cafe & bar right next door. Very welcoming and accommodating staff (Marisol & another lovely female staff member, thank you again 🙏 who didn’t hesitate to help me with posting a key back to previous hotel as I had an early departure this morning). Very clean modern rooms & bathrooms, heating and comfy beds. We would definitely stay again here at Wanaka Hotel, couldn’t recommend it enough 10/10 - Jan & Graeme AUSTRALIA

We wandered around the town centre, but ultimately chose the restaurant in the hotel: great cocktails, great atmosphere, great food (Mexican theme), great service. The breakfast restaurant has an in-house bakery. OMG forget the diet. Although centrally located, we enjoyed a nice quiet night. Woke to falling snow, what a bonus from the sheltered deck. Would stay again.

Excellent location. Just walk across the road to eateries and shops. Rooms are clean and updated. Comfortable bed. There is a kitchen for guests to cook their own food. Recommended for couples.
