A good hotel
The room is okay. The hot spring is not included, so another option is to stay at another hotel and come here for hot spring. The hot spring is very popular. Bookings are essential.

Property was clean and tidy. Staff were not at all helpful. This place apparently has a hot spring section. We were not given any information about this by the staff. Parking was very limited, especially for large vehicles. Undercover parking is an extra cost. Dining was limited. the cafe was closed at 7pm with the only nearby place to eat was at the property next door, which was more than accommodating. We were not the only ones who went there looking or food & drinks Would not stay again.

Service was disappointing
Very disappointed with service. Upon check in confirmed dinner was available to 7pm. Also happy hour was 5-6. We went to happy hour but bar was closed. Was then informed no happy hour available and in fact no dinner was also available as restaurant was closed. Staff member was rude when we asked about it. Inconvenient we then had to leave the premises to find alternative dinner option

Tv wouldn’t work properly and complained in numerous occasions and wasn’t fixed. Had a room right next to the car park door and heard door banging everytime someone came in or out of carpark. Also wanted $50 a day for under cover carpark

Relaxing stay but day staff could be better
When we checked in, the reception staff were both really lovely and everyone at the day spa and hot springs reception were friendly and helpful. The day reception weren't friendly and we tried to book the bathe and breakfast deal but we were told to book with the restaurant in the morning but when we went they asked us to book with reception who asked us to book with the bath house when they open at 9am. In the end we didn't bother with the breakfast and only did the bath house session for an hour.

The room and building were all clean and staff were courteous. The hot spa was excellent. The Tides Cafe was closed the second night, no reason given - had to go elsewhere for dinner. Overall, had great two nights.
