Great hotel with character. Although historic has all the needed amenities and ambiance of a boutique hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location close to city center, with multi routes for walks and sightseeing.

This was by far one of the most memorable hotels I have ever stayed at. I would pick this location over many 5 star hotels at 10 times the cost. You simply cannot understate the passion and love that has gone into this establishment. You can feel it permeate every beam, every rafter, every room. You walk in and see delightful Chopin and period appropriate artwork. You can play a beautiful Kawai Grand piano in the Chopin Salon, which also hosts nightly Chopin concerts. Each room and hallway is well appointed with lovingly restored antique furniture and art, and you will find a wide range of books and magazines in any subject you could want thoughout. The breakfast is delightful and in a cozy cafe setting. The outdoor space inviting and the company pleasant. The staff is so nice and accommodating. Here you are in the presence of other like minded Chopin and piano culture lovers and it is such an amazing feeling that I had a hard time leaving. Will be back for every future stay I have in Warsaw.

We thought the B & B was charming but not handicap accessible. I had a knee scooter for a broken ankle and you had to take a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Also, many stairs to get to breakfast. We only stayed one night and had to move to a hotel with an elevator that covered all floors.

It was a lovely little hotel with a really kind and helpful staff and a delicious breakfast. There were some nightlife places close by which made it a little busy (especially as I was there on a Friday night) but the noise was not too much of an issue. The hotel provided earplugs in case but they were not needed.

Location was good. Overall hotel was good. Excellent breakfast, prepared a "to go" bag when we had to leave early to catch a plane. Space around the bed was very tight. Afternoon/evening service at associated bar/restaurant was slower than most. Have to go up a few steps to reach rooms and the small elevator. Hotel is not air conditioned, but has fans in rooms.

We stayed here overnight on a 23 hour layover through Warsaw on LOT Polish Airlines, but I would have preferred two nights. It is a charming place, with lots of character, including period furnishings from I believe the first half of the 20th century. Our room, with its small attached sitting area, helped me imagine for a moment that I was living in pre-War Poland. Breakfast was delicious and well-rounded, and we enjoyed it among greenery and flowers on the patio. There were many hearty options, as well as sweet choices, vegetables, and fruits. Cappuccinos were included – or whatever coffee of choice. It seemed like they took a lot of pride in the quality of everything they served, despite it being a “free hotel breakfast.” For example, they offered their own honey as a condiment, harvested just two weeks before our arrival. And when we checked out they gave us a small jar of it. They were kind enough to hold our bags securely while we walked to Old Town Warsaw for the day. We had a delightful time exploring the restored Old Town area, ordering coffees and pastries and pierogies, buying Polish pottery, visiting the Cold War Museum, working on perfecting our pronunciation of the words for “thank you” and for the Polish currency. (But don’t ask me to spell them!) If you are coming from the airport, I recommend waiting in the Uber line, not the taxi line. I’m pretty sure we were overcharged in our taxi, despite it being the amount on the meter.

Chopin House is a special treat for travelers who value atmosphere over the generic hotel experience. The quietly elegant rooms have 12-foot ceilings and tall, velvet-draped windows, and are furnished very comfortably with wood furniture from the 1930s-40s. Mine even had a little kitchen. The building has been beautifully brought back to life by the owner. The nightly Chopin concerts, held in a cozy salon setting, are sublime. There's a roof deck, too! Don't stay here if you require all the mod cons (A/C, fridge, workout room, etc). The hotel is just a couple of blocks off the main pedestrian street Nowy Swiat, which is perfect for night strolls up to the Old Town. Bicycle use was free. Very good breakfast. I would return to Warsaw just to stay here again. Extra thanks to the lovely and kind staff members Ulla, Olek, and Marnina!
