East parking. Some of the staff were nice and helpful, but some of them (Gen Z) were not helpful. The TV didn’t really work properly which was very frustrating and the staff were no help. They have smart TVs but no remotes for them.

Unfortunately this property is very outdated. The beds squeaked so badly I was up all night everytime someone moved the slightest. The bathroom shower had mold ALL over. No amenities like breakfast or a pool. We paid way more for this room than it’s worth but there are limited options in the area. It’s been years since I have written such a poor review but this place needs a total facelift.

We requested a handicap room wich we got on the second floor but there was no elevator and the clerk would not switch our room to the first floor. Not sure how someone who is in wheelchair and could not walk would het to the room. Luckily mu mother could get up the stairs

Large rooms
A little dated, but the rooms were large and clean. No recycle bins. No breakfast available on the property; just coffee only. No microwave in the rooms; just a small one in the hotel lobby. Scenic views of the lake and marina. Appeared to be the nicest hotel in Washburn.

Everything was in very good shape, neat and clean. Our only issue was the pillows. All had lumps in them, except the one that was flat. But i dont sleep well, so maybe others wouldnt notice. All in all a great place.

Place was very clean, nice staff. Only downfall, the floors were very creaky on first and second floors. We were on 1st and could constantly hear above guests with the creaky floors.

This is an old hotel. I think it needs an update. The room we stayed in was once a smoking room- you can still smell it; probably still in the carpeting, maybe even the wood trim or headboard and dresser. It has a new coat of paint and maybe the linens, but the blanket we found in the dresser had cigarette burns and other stains on it. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. Where was the microwave? I understand not having one in each room, but then have one available in the eat-in area. Maybe consider making that area a windowed patio. The view of the lake from your hotel is worth a couple million, at least! Maybe show it off more, so customers can take it in. I know updates are extremely expensive, but give your place that extra pizzaz it needs to stay in business for another 50 years!

So for us was great. Was regular room at super reasonable price. Watched the sunset at lakeside restaurant steps away from inn. Enjoyed their coffee watching the sunrise on the waterfront on the marina dock. Serene with goose and duck flights on the go
