We stayed in two different units during our stay. First was the three bedroom unit when we had people with us. Then they were able to move us to a one bedroom unit, but it was just my wife and I.
Everybody was amazing and the swings in the lobby were a lot of fun.
We
The only suggestion would be a better place to save luggage. Instead of packing in someone’s office while they were trying to work.!!!

Good family trip option; not for light sleepers
This place is pretty good. Clean, spacious, well-equipped. Kitchen with microwave and toaster, and washer/dryer.
My daughter and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite here and it suited us well, with a few problems that you should be aware of that may or may not be relevant to you.
Location - if you've looked at a map you'll see it's not totally central. It's nearest the Green line on the subway, which means you'll be transferring onto the Red line to go to many of the tourist sites. Having said that, it's still very convenient - it's a 1 block walk to the subway station. One day we decided not to use the subway and walked to the Capitol building; it only took 20-25 minutes. So the location is pretty good, (but not amazing).
Check-in. Man this is unnecessarily complicated. You have to download an appl just to let yourself in the front door. From there you will check in with a human being who will issue you a standard hotel prox card and never use the app again.
Sleep. This was the big problem for us. On floor 3 you could hear every conversation on the street below. Worse, the blinds aren't block-out - so you're constantly illuminated by light bright enough to read by. Good thing we had our eye masks with us.
I believe a hotel has fundamentally failed if it doesn't give you a good night's sleep. Thanks to the light (and also the noise) we never got this here.
Hopefully the hotel will install curtains or block-out blinds in the future.
Great, stylish and affordable hotel in heart of DC
Took our first trip to DC and was apprehensive about it with all the things you hear about it on the news....was VERY pleasantly surprised! CODA was a great hotel- located in a very safe and convenient area! Uber was prompt at the door, and was a $10 trip to the Capital; Smithsonian and a lot more! Very chic and trendy, but even us oldies were able to enjoy all they offer! Good!
The room needed to be cleaned a little bit more lots of dust under the beds and tables but other than that it was very good

Disappointing stay
This is the third time I stay at this hotel mainly bc of the proximity of my daughter’s home. In the previous two times I stayed at premium bedrooms which were nice as far as size of bedroom and a few amenities. This time I also booked a premium room but was given a very small basic bedroom in which I had to speak with a manager to address that I had payed a much higher price and was given a basic/small room. The answer was that the hotel was fully booked and I would have to wait two days and move on the third day. This basic bedroom was not only small but it was a terrible location and with soiled furniture and rug and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. I was cleared upset for i had book my reservation 6 weeks prior to my arrival. They should have had reserved my premium bedroom instead of giving to somebody else .On the third day they moved me to another room that still was not the premium bedroom but a bedroom a little larger than my original one. I then requested a reimbursement for the difference of rate between the premium room and the basic room I was forced to stay , as there were no available premium rooms during my 5 days stay. The bed was small and very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. I do not recommend this place and will not stay there again.
Nice property near Nationals Park. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was helpful. Clean nice rooms.

Great staff, nice digs but too bright at night.
The front staff were friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated having a kitchen so I could prepare my breakfast throughout my staff. The bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower was nice. My only complaint was the lack of room darkening shades or curtains. My room was on the second floor and there was a street light directly outside my windows. The light bled so the room was never dark, which impacted my sleep.
