Double Tree in Crystal City. I had the pleasure in partaking from your breakfast in the main dining room and both the food and especially the service...were fantastic! While the common areas are what is expected of DT, inviting, comfortable, bright and spectacular...unfortunately the rooms were falling short. Maybe because of change of season, we experienced issues with the heat and again, maybe because it is only just now getting a bit busier, the refrigerator was unplugged and the food reserved ...ALL of it, became spoiled. Now, though also the room was a bit rundown, with missing light covers and water stains on the ceiling, I cannot dismiss the attention and responsiveness by hotel support. So, all in all, the service and dedication of the amazing staff definitely helped the hotel with its other and while few, somewhat important shortcomings. Thank you Double Tree!
