I paid for my hotel in advance and checked into the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Washington, DC at 11p. When I arrived, I was told that no rooms were available. They oversold my room and provided no reasonable accommodations. Terrible customer service. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful hotel. Suite on the 9th fl was clean, spacious with great views through windows all around. A lot of city noise but it comes with the neighborhood. Walkable to everything.

Wonderful in every way - from room organization, to staff friendliness, to incredible location, and ease of access to downtown, Smithsonian’s, Planet Word Museum, and Himalayan restaurant close by. Morning made-to-order breakfast was hectic but well worth it, and evening cocktails were a fabulous plus! Very family-friendly (pool, gym, walk ability to museums, TVs in both rooms of suites, separate dining area (to avoid spillage!) and availability of cookware/flatware (ask for these at the front desk) and in-room refrigerator and microwave). CVS close by for essentials too. We had a very comfortable and all-around splendid time!

Not sure what was going on, but lots of fights during the night, slamming doors and screaming 3 nights in a row. The dishes in the self-service breakfast and happy hour sections were consistently dirty or soiled from the dishwasher. Linens were worn and in need of replacing. Good mattresses, very friendly and helpful staff.
