This is a beautiful property with some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met. My wife and I stayed two nights and had a blast walking and scootering around DC this hotel was our morning fuel up spot the cafe breakfast is amazing! If you stay here you will not regret it. Also has great views

They charged me extra fees that I was not expecting of over $100 a day. They also did not clean the room even though I put out the sign. Please cleaned room as soon as possible and the sign was out there and I was gone for at least 12 hours. The staff was hard to understand and the very first staff member was not very nice.

The room was clean and the location was great but the king bed that we reserved was two twin beds pushed together and very uncomfortable to sleep on, also the hotel charged us an extra 86$ undisclosed fee when we checked out.

Terrific little hotel. We loved it, and our cat didn't want to leave. The Restaurant is not bad, but not great. The rooms, service and staff are wonderful! Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

I thought I had found a good deal, and I prepaid for 3 nights. The AC was very noisy, the sheets had holes and tears, hairs on the bed and in the tub, plus few little insects walking around the bathrooms. The cost for parking is ridiculous for a garage with a very low clearance. They have a coffee shop on the main level that is quite disorganized and expensive, I paid $29 for 2 coffee and a 1 croissant. I spoke with the person at the front desk, zero help, the GM wasn't there and never replay to my complaints. Poor management and needs a big clean up!

The Generator is a perfect location to many iconic places in DC. It's also located in a beautiful neighborhood by Embassy row. The 4 bed rooms provided ample individual space and privacy, beds were comfortable, bathroom was satisfactory and the overall experience was lovely.

The air conditioning in the facility only seemed to be 10 degrees or so different than outside, so it was very warm in the evenings when trying to sleep. Bed was not great. Facility was very clean and staff were very friendly.
