I recently moved to the area and had some friends come out for DC Winefest! This hotel was PERFECT for Our Slumber Party! Jamar at the front desk was so nice and accommodating during check-in. I'd def go stay here again!

I’ll start with the good - the bed was clean and comfortable and the room cooled quickly. The gym was pretty spacious and had almost a full set of free weights (minus common weights of 20lbs & 25lbs….) What was annoying/frustrating were the following deficiencies: no towels restocked in the gym, no working water in the gym, the weights issue, the incredibly slow elevators/long wait times, the ice machines were only on certain floors and one of them was inoperable. In the shower, the conditioner was totally out. There was someone’s used bar of soap in the shower… gross… It should also be more prominent that this requires a valet ($55/day). I would not stay here again at this location, but I do like other HGIs.

Great place to stay. Right near the Noma Metro station. Some of the fitness center equipment doesn't work and needs fixing. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Staff was great. Enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant.

My only reason for dropping a star was the ice machine on my floor (8th) wasn't working. Other than that, we had a great experience. A bank right across the street. Easy access to streets leading to the National Monument Mall area. Grocery store and CVS half a block away. I will say that there will be some "characters" walking around, but in DC that is everywhere. And it's entertaining. Instead of trying to find a place to park I valeted the car which was so easy with the use of an app to request your vehicle as you left the room. It'd be outside by the time you reached the door to exit the hotel. I did an extensive amount of research and found the Hilton Garden fit my criteria. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Arrived late night and the front desk is accommodating. But I didn’t get the King room I booked and gave me a 2 queen bed room instead, front desk is claiming all rooms were taken, but how come that happened if I booked the room 2 montgs in advance. Just means they are double booking. Aircon is very noisy, no conditioner in the bathroom but available upon request. Would be nice if you guests doesn’t need to ask. However, Allen, the lobby attendant was amazing. He goes beyond to help guests and accommodates requests very quickly. Location wise - it is quite far from the attractions but 5-6 mins walk to NoMa station if you like commuting. Overall it was an okay stay - I would likely skip this hotel on my next DC trip.
