Great stay! Hotel was clean, had a view of the Washington Monument, and was within comfortable and safe walking distance to the Mall, Museums and Wharf -which had a number of nice restaurants. Would recommend and stay there next time we visit Wash. D.C.

Parking need to know
Be cautious of parking options. Garage is $45 a day and it charges you when you go in and every 6am after that. The garage also closes its doors at 10pm but the do have a number to call if you need back in after. When we called the number to get back in they literally told us to walk through the exit and walk around to hit the button that will open the entrance door- this was very crazy! Hotel was nice and clean.

I liked the location and the hotel is nice. My only complaint is our room was incredibly dusty. All the surfaces were covered in dust and our belongings became covered in dust while there. Maybe the filter needs to be changed or something? Otherwise, nice hotel.

We stayed at the Hilton - The Wharf about a week and a half ago. The staff was wonderful, helpful no matter what we asked or needed. This applies to the front desk staff, the food service staff and the housekeeping staff. Not one failed us. The room was comfortable and clean. All amenities were easy to figure out and use (believe me, that's not always the case). It was close to a Metro station but also walkable to get to the National Mall, a number of Smithsonian Institutions and the nightlife near the wharf district. As you can tell we were also happy with the location. The Metro station across the street makes it simple to get there from Reagan National Airport, even with luggage.

The bigest positive about this hotel is how convienent it is to the Metro and how friendly the staff are. The main negatives is there was at least one or two amenities broken everyday. Internet down in the whole building. Elevators down to the level to get to the metro. And worst of all, the smell.of pot smoke in the hallways was so strong most days it was hard to walk down the halls.. I probably would not stay here again.

It was very good. A little sparse on the amenities. No shower caps, robe, slippers, vanity kit etc. if they were available then housekeeping never put in the room. Also never refilled our paper cups or glasses. We had to rinse the ones from the first day of our stay.

Good spot in DC for tourists
Well located hotel between National Mall and The Wharf, but you'll still need to do a lot of walking. Only issue with our stay was that it was in the 80s in November, so the hotel had hot air blowing - we got back to our room at the end of the day and it was 78 degrees. Since they had a WiFi outage at the same time, it took a few hours to fix.
