Awoke first morning to find room temperature had dropped and thermostat in room not working to adjust it . Then found I had hot water in sink but not shower. I brought this to the attention of person at front desk who assured me it would be taken care of. Next morning same thing nothing had been corrected. Also after being out and about for almost 6 hours came back to find housekeeping on their way home and my room had not been cleaned. At checkout I voiced my displeasure again and they payed for my breakfast. A long way to go and a lot of money to spend for cold showers.

Late night rampage
A lot of good things about this hotel but the breakfast buffet sucks. Food cold and overpriced. No sugar free syrup. Also one night a bunch of 8th graders ran up and down the halls screaming at midnnight. Chaparones ineffective and seemed to justify the action of the kids. Security not in sight.

Our group loved the shuttle service that helped us get back and forth from metro and airport. We ate our evening meals at the O'Malley's restaurant and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and good food. The key card to use elevator made us feel safe. Check in and out was easy and the desk staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel was good for what we needed it for. Stayed to catch a very early flight from DCA. The hotel is older and it looks and feels it. Our room smelled like moth balls bad! We got used to it but it was very pungent as soon as you walk in. It was clean. Suited our needs but I wouldn’t stay there for anymore than what we needed it for.
