The common areas at the hotel are great, the lobby, pool, restaurants, entertainment areas, etc. However our room was less than ideal, the first night we arrived the flat sheet in one of our beds had a stain, drawers were super dirty it was disgusting, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, fridge froze all the food and drinks we put on it, the room felt dirty and outdated.

Requested a room away from train side through booking and had to push the request at time of check in. Staff told me rooms weren’t clean and we checked in after 3:00 I told he we would wait then she found a room. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Close to walk to Mall.

Property in desperate need of refurbishment! The first room I was given was spacious however the carpet had a large ugly stain and overall looked dingy. The front desk staff promptly changed me to another room upon request. The second room didn’t have a huge stain on the carpet but still seemed a bit dark and dingy. The AC unit was extremely loud which I did not like. I would not stay here again .

I stayed just one night at this property during a rest stop on our road trip. By the time we checked into the hotel, it was almost dinner so we ate at the restaurant at the hotel. My kids were excited to go in the rooftop pool, but to our dismay after they changed into their swimsuits after dinner, the pool had closed. They closed at 8pm. They didn't open until 10am the next morning. And checkout is at 11am. During the time that they were in the pool, the lifeguard took a break, so everyone needed to get out of the pool until he returned. With limited time, I found this ridiculous.

Room was great except the outside of the wi Dow wa really dirty. We chose a high room for a view and could not see out of the window. Light did. It work. Overall great hotel. Very friendly staff.

Fabulous location for visiting the National Mall! This property is within easy walking distance to the Capitol building, Air and Space Museum, Museum of Natural History, and Botanical Gardens. There is a metro subway station L'Enfant Plaza only about a block away that can take you all over to other sites. It is about $2.25 per ride. The parking here is very good with underground parking with in/out privileges. The rooftop pool is very good but is only open from 10am to 8pm. I wish they had a microwave in the rooms but there are mini-fridges in the rooms. I would stay here again.

While not a luxury resort by any means - this location is wonderful for touring the Nat'l mall and Smithsonian - easy walk to subway trains and short ride on subway from Reagan - commuter rail is right there giving way to easy access to Baltimore - recommend - pets on floor 2
