A satisfactory stay in a great location
The location is the top scorer. Very friendly room service staff. Front desk and valet are good as well.

first time leaving a review bc i had to. hotel was close to a lot of spots and i could walk to concert venue (capital one arena) i liked my room's windows lol however, thats about it when it comes to the nice things. room was HOT. the AC was not working, we set it at the lowest temp but room stayed warm throughout the stay. called lobby for help and when manager came and we explained, we only got apologies bc room was full and they could not give us another one. also, it was late at night so the technician could not check the unit. oh well, the only "solution" was to give points but we booked with expedia...so no points. THEN the tech came in the next morning but only said we should have made the thermostat lower (we had already done that and explained it to him twice), no solutions and so we stayed in a warm room til we checked out. we were also told that we were not the only room with AC issues. not fun during summer, so beware. checking out was literally a "what room number" and that was it... breakfast could have been better, in my opinion, but good enough i guess.

The front desk clerk on 8/5/14 the morning shift was amazing our room has some problems n she had us move right away. She was a big help very polite and professional, great attitude. I wish i would gotten her name but she was great so was the cleaning staff

The location is great!!! Close to supermarkets, restaurants and the metro is really easy to use. It will take you to most of the attractions in Washington DC! Th only thing I would recommend is paid for parking separate. Find out how much is it because is not included with the hotel bill. The hotel also provides good breakfast, you can also cook in the room there is a small kitchen and fridge. Have a great stay!

Walkable to most monuments 1.5-3.0 miles. Within a few blocks of several eateries. Grocery store across the street. Large room with kitchen. No onsite dining except for a basic breakfast.

The housekeeping staff took very good care of the room during my stay and found my earring that came out while sleeping. I was testing during my stay,, so I was all over the place, so it was wonderful to be in a hotel that worked hard to make sure my stay was comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites. The staff was incredibly accommodating by letting us store our luggage on our arrival day and departure day. Any supplies we needed for our room were quickly brought to us. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and polite. The breakfast was different every day which was a nice variety. We would definitely recommend staying here!
