Acceptional Hotel with stunning amenities. The rooms are understated elegance and hotel features high end lounging areas with a speak easy bar, rooftop wonderland and fine dining on the main level as well.

Great first visit
Very cool new hotel in Alexandria. Large room, very comfy bed. Neat speakeasy bar that was fun to enjoy as part of the experience. Was a super quick visit so will need to come back to enjoy the hotel bar and other amenities.

Property was extremely clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location in Old Town Alexandria. We paid extra for a corner room, but were assigned a very small standard room. We thought the daily parking fee of $45 was atrocious, and drinks in bar overpriced. $40 for two drinks w/tip).

The Heron is a lovely property in a wonderful part of Old Town. The staff is responsive, the hotel is quite lovely and the restaurant is delicious.

The lights are set to go off every 2-3 minutes if you are not moving. This is not long enough. The time on the lights needs to change to give someone long enough to get done what they are trying to do. The rest of my stay and time at the hotel was great.

Gorgeous hotel. Michael at the front desk was a pleasure and Andrew at the bar made phenomenal drinks. The hotel is very well appointed with gorgeous finishes. Walkable to King Street. Bed was comfortable- would stay again in a second.

Excellent location in Old Town Alexandria! Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome, comping our drinks at the bar when one room wasn’t ready ..late checkout, seriously the staff wanted us to be happy and we were! Christmas time in Old Town is magical. Highly recommend!
