Check in was confusing for the clerk. I had paid prior via Expedia, but they require a $100 credit card deposit. For some reason the clerk couldn't get computer to work and had to make repeated calls to management who was off site. The lobby is secured at all hours and you have to go to a window and press a button. This led me to believe the property is in a high crime area.

The room was not bad at all.. or at least I thought! it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all! The tub had such an orange colored ring around the bottom of the tub and about 10 hairs on the walls and bottom of the tub! I actually had to clean it before we even took a shower! The baseboards had 2 inches of dust on them! We had to wipe our feet off before crawling into bed! Mirrors had hand prints and tooth paste splatters on it! Never again would I stay here because of the uncleanliness!!

I think we stayed mid-renovations. It was easy to see that they're working on improving the guest experience. Pluses: It was clean and quiet which are our main requirements. Our room was reasonably priced and the staff was helpful and friendly Could Improve: Outside seating. Grips in the bottom of a Very slippery tub. Better towels. A better breakfast selection with working appliances

The lady at the desk was helpful. The room had an odd odor. When housekeeping come in they didn't leave me more towels, soap but the bed was made very nicely. The whole complex needs updating.

Red Roofing It!
Greeted by very friendly staff and everyone was very accommodative throughout the weekend. Entry doors were awkward, I guess for extra security. We were on second floor and the elevator was not working. Free breakfast was sparse and ran out of things quickly. They weren't prepared for large bicycle crowd in town for event. Bed was comfortable, TV worked well, Bathroom was clean. Hotel was ok. Need to step up their game by another 10%.

Horrible experience.
Hotel is being renovated but we were in a finished room and it was poorly done. Hallways smell of smoke or chemicals. Room didn’t smell much better. Bathroom and floor were dirty. Had to go buy Clorox wipes and febreeze spray. They never came to the room to make the bed or deliver more towels. We weren’t even asked if we needed some more. We had a reservation for 3 people but were only supplied with two towels for the room.We checked in at night and he was quite unprofessional and then did not give me my driver’s license back. In town to get drug tested for a job. Drove 40 mins to get to the testing sight only to realize I didn’t have my driver’s license. Had to drive all the way back to get it. Only positive was that they did save my driver’s license. Also charge an extra 100.00 deposit that will be repaid but we didn’t have that money for the trip. We considered changing hotel but didn’t think they would refund our money. Will never stay in a Red Roof again.

The rooms were fairly new - but stuffy and loud. There was constant banging in the hall, tv noise and people talking from the other rooms. Breakfast was very limited.

It took 2 hours to get checked in here!!! We were staying for a quick overnight and had to bring our dog, so cancelled another reservation to stay here as they advertise your dog can stay for free. I assumed this means you can bring a pet with no issue, sonce there's no fee. Michelle at the desk saw my husband bring in our dog and said, " you didn'ttell me you had a dog!" "Im like, "you didn't ask..." as I stand right in front of the sign on the front desk and tv monitor that saus we welcome your pets. Ok, fine. But instead of just moving us to the appropriate room at this moment and setting expectations upfront; we were moved to 3 different rooms!! I don't have a problem with a designated room for pets as much as I have with the lack of empathy and the incompetency levels here. We booked two rooms, so moving a dog crate and all your luggage that many times is draining and unwarranted. Additionally, Michelle who checked us in was MIA when we arrived, the front doors were locked and no one was attending the desk. It took her 20 minutes to come downstairs and another 20 to check us into a dirty room! Towel had pubic hair on it and the linen is dingy. I asked to be put away from high traffic areas. They put us right near the ice machine and of course the dog is on edge everytime someone walks through. No apology for making us late and ultimately missing the wedding that we drove all this way to attend. Do not waste your time and energy dealing with this hotel!

Not Really All It Could Be!
It was OK for me as a solo, but barely adequate if I had my wife along. Also, breakfast is supposedly available from 6-9 AM each morning, but during my 2 day stay when I went for it between 6:45-7, there was no hot food left and no management to ask about it. On top of that, the breakfast room was a mess and ran out of plates and plasticware.
