Very mid.
Overall, the place is fine. Very queer welcoming, and the folks that work there are nice. Our issue was with the room. And it’s not about the size of the room, we get the concept. The issue was with the ventilation, the sheets, and the bathroom. The see-through bathroom was very odd. We’re a couple and still, a little privacy is always nice. The room was always either freezing or hot af. Every time we showered the whole room became a sauna, even with the AC on. And then after having the AC on for a while, it becomes freezing, so you have to switch to heat. The room is made of concrete, so that’s probably part of it. The bed itself was largely fine, but the sheets and blankets were kind of crappy.

Fun bar/reception area -- we felt like there was a local flavor and very chic, hip, warm and fun vibe. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We walked or Lime scootered everywhere and it was very easy and convenient. Rooms/beds very comfortable. We loved our stay here.

The guy who checked me in was too busy watching his Monday night football to give me good service. It was 930 at night and i didnt know why i have to wait for him to watch his game. It took him forever to do " i dont know what", and he didnt say but 3 words, didnt even tell me where the gym was , where to fill my water bottle, where to go for food, or about their amwnities and library,.or the fact that one elevator was down. I would also like to mention that the "security" person in the lobby was yelling across the room at some guy, while she sat at a guest table. She looked lazy and unprofessional doing that. On the other hand, the rest of the staff members i encountered were very nice, pleasant and helpful. I would give those first two a 1 out of 5 and i would give a 5 out of 5 to the rest.

Great time except the parking
Great hotel group! Previously stayed in Brooklyn and thought it would be cool to stay at the DC location. Check-in process was easy and our stay was fine…until we had to get our car from the valet. We waited 30-40 min for valet to come and learned that they were just in their car diagonal to us doing whatever. They clearly saw us waiting. About 10 min into waiting, I had gone inside and asked the front desk what to do and they said it was out of their hands and they didn’t know what to do. I ended up going inside again when it reached 30-40 min mark, and the front desk was shocked we were still waiting for valet. As this was happening, that’s when we saw valet come out of the car that was literally within view of us waiting outside. Although the front desk couldn’t do anything (per them), I would have honestly appreciated an apology for this. The front desk just went back to scrolling on their phone. Valet person also didn’t apologize, and just went back into their car after giving me my keys. I’ll stay at Moxy again but will never do parking again.

Me and my fiance loved everything about the MOXY for our weekend getaway. The vibes and aesthetics are unmatched down to the staff. The ground floor provides games and lounge sections for their guests to play and chit-chat. I would recommend anyone to stay at the MOXY for an unforgettable experience!
