The location was excellent and very convenient. The staff were friendly and great to deal with. The rooms were spacious and the staff friendly. My only criticism would be that the bathrooms were a bit outdated, and in my example the tub had a really slow drain.

I traveled with my son for his 21st birthday and this was my first day at a Royal Sonesta. I had asked in advance for the front desk to help me by hanging a 21st birthday sign as a surprise once I got to the front desk, they were so sweet to take my wrapped banner, and do their best to place it in our room. the front desk staff were amazing and professional. Our room was really generous sized and comfortable. We enjoyed the small gym and took advantage of the lobby bar to catch up on the Olympics. A special mention to Shamar, Carla & Elsadig. Being our first time staying at a Royal Sonesta, and feeling so well taken care of and impressed by the property and front desk staff, we will return.

this hotel is very pet friendly and is in a great location. Nice fitness center. Not a great view from our room (looked at the parking lot and little natural light) but the room was big.

The staff was exceptional! Everyone was very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a safe and friendly location with restaurants and bakeries very near the hotel. Our room was spacious and bathroom was very clean. Why I did not give this hotel a 5 star is that the carpets in the hotel rooms are old and dirty. Your feet would be dirty if you walked around on the carpet with socks or bare feet.

The sliding doors for the bathroom are strange. The stairs in the swimming pool aren’t sufficient to exit the pool. The drains around the pool are rusty and broken. They could really hurt someone. The fire alarm testing that had been scheduled went on several times during the day and lasted way too long.

Very well located for our needs. Lots of things to do within walking distance. The front door people were always helpful and cheerful with a smile. Didn't like the AC, doesn't do a good job of keeping the temperature constant.
