Self kiosk instructions were confusing. Phone number to call for assistance had busy signal all the time ( phone not working? Text had no answer. TV not turning on. Orherwise, I like the place, neighborhood and price.

The check in was unsuccessful as the kiosk would not accept number given to me from printout sheet. Waiting in 30° weather with wind blowing was not enjoyable whatsoever. Also room was acceptable, but water did not work in the shower. Obviously the owner is not on premises or has not updated property to be acceptable.

Parking is prohibitively expensive in this area and very inflexible. No in-out privileges etc. Hotels have a "it's your problem" hands off approach. Shameful and very mediocre experience. Also, bathroom smelt so that was also disgusting. Not very happy at all. I left 2 days earlier, despite no refunds.

Simple but really agreeable, quiet and cozy. Only downside was the limitation on early check in, i.e. the room was already clean and ready (as I learned when I called to inquire) but because there is no reception desk but only self check in then I was unable to access the room until 1430. Otherwise it was clean, I loved that they had a proper hairdryer as well a free water, coffee and a cooking and eating area.

I loved my stay. Thank you to the staff for making my trip & stay simple and smooth. My Lock #7 was beautiful, I enjoyed excellent light from the 3 windows. The location was perfect for my stay. I will stay here again next time I come to DC.

Check in process was automated at an ATM-like kiosk which was dimly lit and I had to restart the process multiple times because the machine was not working. The walls were thin. I did not feel comfortable with the level of security at the property. Finally, my room had no hot water. I attempted to contact the property twice and received no response. I left the property after one night and had to make alternative arrangements for the remainder of my time in DC.

Nice, no frills room. Only complaints are the overpowering smell of the air freshener, which is still stuck in my clothes, and the $100 fee tacked on to the Hotels.com price.
